pretty sure he means if the CPU will adjust matchups on defense as well this year instead of allways guarding your PG with their PG, your SG with their Sg etc, etc.

Would interest me as well. Not holding my breath, but there´s been so many positive changes that nothing would shock me at this point

If he was asking CPU making cross-matches, I already asked Czar about that on Twitter and he said CPU's don't do it intentionally but there are during fast breaks on their transition defense.

I asked that way back in August, here's hoping it made it to the retail version though I highly doubt it.

As far as I can remember, way back during the summer, a developer confirmed they couldn't get that in this year.

I see. Hopefully, next year. It's always good to have something to look forward to.

I sure hope those don't work like the "Defensive Matchups" last year. In 2K10, if you assigned Kobe (SG) to guard Rondo, expect the bench SG's who will be put in the game to be guarding the opponent's other PG's as well. It was position-based not player-specific.

Czar, can you confirm that Preferred Matchups is player-specific?
Yes it is. For a test I had Roy of the blazers guarding Garnet in preferred. then subbed in matthews and he was guarding the opposing sg. then when I brought Roy back in he was guarding Garnet again.

@C'zar This video is themost informative video you have posted as to date in my opinion. With that said I wonder if you have read the sim bible over in the forums. there is a 35 page thread that boils down to ON ball Defense being sim. You always say you are a member of Sim nation, I would love to know your thoughts on that topic.
