Agree. I can't recall the last time I've seen 2K put on a media effort like this.

Really shows they had confidence in their product this year.

This is the most "in your face" marketing they've done that I can remember - they're usually about viral marketing and letting people discover things on their own. They were blogging before it became cool (w/Football Fridays back in the 2K5 days) but I felt the marketing campaigns then were pretty good. The stuff they did w/Terrell Owens in 2K5, the forever-classic Tracy Morgan stuff, and I thought they did a great job a few years ago w/2K9 and the Kevin Garnett commercials. This year they have a possible all-time game and probably the ultimate coverguy, so makes sense to go all out as they have across the board

I also think it means they had confidence in the other game, so they knew they need to push their game harder.
