CONFIRMED: NBA Elite 11 Delayed until 2011

Finally EA cuts their losses. This is not good for them, in my opinion I dont think they are going to pull through with this game. I wont be surprise if they later announce that they are going to hold off until elite 12 to put it out. On the other hand I really hope they dont tank. As much as I love 2k, I believe competition drives this studios to make better games, so good luck EA and hope to see Elite soon.

I honestly feel like we are looking at a cancellation, not a delay. It would be hard to complete Elite 11 and have a 5 month turn around for Elite 12.

but this move was the best move EA SPORTS made in years but this delay will not mean anything if they think it was nothing really wrong with Elite.... I hope they know they need to scrap it and really reboot from scratch.

Wow, to think that Corporate America does in fact listen to the little guys!Great great move EA!! more time to iron out the kinks and put together a finished product. As a prior poster mentioned, I'd also welcome the idea of them just waiting until 2011 and going with Elite 12. Just do a dynamic roster update on both titles of Live 10 and also NCAA 10 and you 've generate hype for the upcoming BB season not to mention sales for the coming holidays for unsold new copies that you have in stock. Again good move EA

I am full-heartedly behind this decision. The game clearly needed more work, and EA can see this.

i have always been a fan of live and really enjoyed live 10. i think elite has alot of potential. this is a brave and smart move by ea. it's a step in the right direction, and if the game is well worth it i would definately by this game in January or February. until then it's live 10 and can't wait for that roster update.
