It seems that a feasible workaround will be the ability to create-a-player and then send him to the correct classic team (i.e. sending a created Bill Walton to the '86 Celtics). One random poster said that sending a player to a team changes his shorts length by default. Meaning, if a player is sent to the '86 Celts, since they all have short shorts, he'll have short shorts as well. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but it'd be nice.

The create-a-player placement would be just as good as editing the generic players on the team already, as the generics have nothing in common with the guys they're supposed to be. There is no generic aged red head caucasion center on the '86 Celts with suspiciously similar attributes to Bill Walton. Therefore, whether we were to edit the generic guys or just create players and send them to the teams to replace the generics, it should be the same thing.

Has the subsitiuion logic been fixed who association mode and my player,in 2k10 often u would see the game put out ridiclous lineups, like have 3 point guards on the court at the same time, having a sf at center, etc.

Sure, you may not have a 360 to compare things to, so "its ok". But that'd be like saying, you're happy working in a 3rd world sweat shop underpaid because you have never seen America and probably never will go there.

The fact to the matter is, there ARE 2 versions. PS3, and 360. Both from the same company. 1 customer base gets a superior product, the other a gimped port.

We are charged the same amount for the game.

That makes PS3's customer base 2nd class citizens. I'm sure the black slaves who "knew their place" and accepted their fates felt more at peace than those who attempt to fight for their own rights, but it doesn't mean the situation is right.

Your so called NOT CARING, is basically a submissive reaction to "the way things are". You know this is how it is, this is how it has been, and that it isn't likely to change in the future. Crossplatform games will always favor 360, it had been so and it will BE so. And there's nothing we can do about it to force companies to make things right. So we either accept it, or we miss out on a good game.

An inferior version of a good game (that costs us the same $)... but a good game nonetheless.

So what can we do but accept our fates as 2nd class citizens?

Those who so naturally and easily "i dont care", again, I evny you. I want to be at peace too. I just can't.

PS3 has technically higher specs than 360. It means the PS3 version CAN be just as good as 360's, if the developers are willing to spend the effort.

They weren't willing to spend the extra effort to make the versions equal.

And still they charge the same for both.

Well played, 2K.
All of us 'second class citizens' get the best basebal game and Blu-ray, so not too bad!...And a controller that doesn't cause carpal..I always loved the 360 controller, but after switching to PS3 my hansds are doing a lot better....I'm sure it wouldn't make a difference if i didn't type and use a mouse 40 hours a week at work, but i do, so every little bit helps

If people will look at it this way then I guess we will not see a very polished 2k game for the ps3 in this current generation. What really pissed me off a little bit is that they had more time to add some PS Move features and they had no time to fix a very important detail in today's video game generation.
Yeah, they definmitely should have left MOVE out this year
