Wrong. Gasol is equally to an aging Duncan, but worse than Dwight Howard. Gasol has such great offensive skill, but has managed to never score even 20 points a night. Dwight, with his "limited" skills, has done it twice. Gasol is only better at passing and shooting FT's, but Dwight is a better scorer, rebounder and he is the best defender in the NBA.

The L.A. hype is in full effect I see. They are the two best players on the best team in the NBA, not the best swingman/overall player and bigman in the entire league. People seem to not be able to distinguish between those two points.
Gasol has average 20 PPG twice.

Rajan Rondo was on espn today, and he stated that he had learned that his rating was a 92 overall and that he was satisfied with his ratings. So i don't think these will be gonna be the final ratings unless someone can confirm he was wrong?

Oh well I guess that's why you can always adjust ratings because this is highway robbery
Sounds fair to me. Probably a 90 in offense, a 50something on D, combined with a 22 in toughness/88 in softness.

Well D12 has not averaged 20 PPG since VC joined the team so there was no point in saying that.

CP3 2.2 makes 4.9 attempts 45%
Melo 2.9 makes 7.1 attempts 40%
Kobe 2.5 makes 6.0 attempts 41%
KD 2.2 makes 5.8 attempts 37%
Wade 1.9 makes 5.3 attempts 36%
Rose 3.0 makes 6.9 attempts 44%
If you are gonna go by the percentage then you're right. But, you and I both know that his number doesn't tell the whole story. Defenders give Rose a lot of space because his main strengths are his quickness and ability to get into the lane, not his midrange jumpshot. Kobe shot 41% - are you telling me Rose's midrange jumpshot is better than Kobe's? I sure hope not. To say Rose is one of the best jump shooters from 16-23 feet because of the percentage is pretty laughable. With that said, I still think he's one of the best PG's in the NBA.

Here are some of the players who had lower shooting % from 16-23 feet than Rose..

Deron Williams
Richard Hamilton
Mike Bibby
Kobe Bryant
Ben Gordon
Peja Stojakovic

So yeah. Numbers don't always tell the whole story.

Some quick thoughts:

Ariza is too high
Joe Johnson is too high
Igoudala is too high
Bargnani is too high
Kirilenko is too low
Nowitzki is too low
Noah is too low
Nene and Kenyon Martin are both a little high

Re: NBA 2K11: Starting Five Roster Ratings

Darren Collison @ 80 while Brandon Jennings is a 76 and Tony Parker is 78 is really the only thing that stood out to me.

Kobe shouldn't be the same as Bron and Wade anymore both have been better individual players the past year.

D-Will 94
Melo, CP3, Durant - 95
Kobe - 96
Wade - 97
Bron - 98

No big deal though, once you learn how to play with whoever your controlling, there moves and so on and so forth a 90 rated player is still the elite player of the group no matter the number between them.
