Wrong. Gasol is equally to an aging Duncan, but worse than Dwight Howard. Gasol has such great offensive skill, but has managed to never score even 20 points a night. Dwight, with his "limited" skills, has done it twice. Gasol is only better at passing and shooting FT's, but Dwight is a better scorer, rebounder and he is the best defender in the NBA.

The L.A. hype is in full effect I see. They are the two best players on the best team in the NBA, not the best swingman/overall player and bigman in the entire league. People seem to not be able to distinguish between those two points.
Lets move this convo from this thread.

First, what makes LeBron a better defender than Kobe? The fact that he gets steals and weakside blocks? Kobe can still lock people down while being athletically inferior. LeBron is hardly a lock down defender. Second, Lebron has like 2 or 3 inches of height and even more given his athleticism so obviously he's going to be a better rebounder.

Third, Gasol has averaged 20 points per game twice in his career back when he was the #1 option in Memphis. In LA, he's the #2 option and still averages 18 or 19 points per game while Howard struggles to score 20 despite being the #1 option and having like the highest FG % in the NBA. So no, Howard is not a better scorer. He can just dunk.

The ratings are fine just the way they are.

Blame me for being also a Spaniard, but I completely disagree!

I hope one of the dev can answer this for me but I have a question about the ratings and its effect on association. We all can agree that Dirk is better than D.Lee but they're both rated 83 and I'm sure a lot has to do with Lee being an incredible rebounder. But in association, how do you distinguish the two? Like would your chances of winning a ring be greater with Dirk in 2k or with Lee if you were simming the season?
Hmmm

Future HOF Dirk who is still at the top of his game being an 83..............

He's arguably coming off a better year than his MVP season

Oh well I guess that's why you can always adjust ratings because this is highway robbery

dwight is a better player than rondo that's not a crazy statement to make, and in fact, many people would agree so yeah... keep making "smart" remarks, but just know they're really, REALLY ****ing stupid
The fact that a PG has a higher rating than a C doesn't mean that the PG is a better player than the C either. They play completely different positions.

You'd be lucky to have more than 10 GM's take Gasol over Howard

Usually I'd say "these ratings are too low!" but I know that 2K's amazing gameplay puts all these numbers to work well.
