I didnt read all of these but is DeMarcus Cousins really gonna come off the bench behind Dalembert, who is rated a 70.

This is not FIBA 2k11 its NBA 2k11. I don't care how good a player was at FIBA. The rules are different the talent is different. Also, the ratings aren't wrong especially when your best argument begins with "I feel like....."

Im sorry but all you guys saying that Brandon Jennings deserves at least an 80 are crazy. The guy scored 55 in his third game and did absolutely nothing afterwards. His Shooting Percentage sucks, his decision making sucks, he has a lot potential though but to say he deserves an 80 RIGHT NOW is blashphemy.

You guys do realize that players are rated on much more than their offensive and defensive skiils right? Athleticism, Basketball IQ are other things being rated in aswell

So Rondo I believe does deserve more than Rose. Sure Rose has the scoring and more athleticism over Rondo but Rondo's decision making, basketball IQ, passing skills and Defense are all much better than Derrick's at this point. Plus he has a ring.

For all those with the Dwight Howard and Tim Duncan comparisons .. c'mon. If you really know basketball - Tim 9even last season) is a better overall ball player than Dwight. Dwight's offensive awareness alone would suck down his average -- but his dunks and blocks are likely still 99. So you figure
Dwight 99 (dunks)+99 (blocks)+ 60 (offensive awareness) = 86 (rounded)
vs Tim 83 (dunks) + 87 (blocks) + 94 (offensive awareness) = 88
-------
Please dont obscure my point by focusing on the specific numbers .. just understand the logic.
Same goes with a lot of the other ratings .. your debates will still be there .. but understand that this is a critical factor when looking at differences of 1-2 points. Specialists will generally have lower overall numbers .. fyi. Dwight is a definitely a specialist if I ever saw one.
Young bucks on here .. keep reading man -- it'll get your bball IQ up. This stuff even helps on the real courts.

So that difference in distance makes Eric Gordon less of a player in the NBA? Ok, gotcha. That's a really good reason to downgrade a person. I guess that makes Steph Curry and Chauncey less good shooters too.
