i'm a middle school p.e and health teacher. the answer is no they do not based on what i see here in nj. they constantly debate over who's better lebron or kobe. those are the jordans of their generation. can't fault them for that, they are just too young. my 8th graders were all born in 1997. some in 1996 lol. some students are aware of jordan, others don't believe he's better than kobe, others are like jordan who. last year i gave the boys this extra credit question on a health test...can you name tthe 5 teams shaq has played for? not one put down orlando. and yes i gave the girls a different question lol

Sure wish I had a teacher like you when I was in middle school!

its cool commercial nothing special here but my guess is after two funny commercials they now what they are doing..the real fans dont mind cus this game is going to be the best bastketball game of 2010 2011 i just played the demo of elite 11 and i dont like it not just because of the controls but everybody is a fast pace dribbler like a point gaurd like cp3 and a sf like ariza or gallinari have the same ballhandling skills. 2k keep doing what yall doing cuzz we like it and if people wanna complain about a commercial..not the game..not the game a commercial not the game....just buy elite and do you
true ballers already know now after the demo drop of elite that its a wrap 2ks gameplay and all the new cool stuff has been an eye magnent so far just look at the comments here and the hypegrade they got..its just a small indication of whats going on in the world but its a real indication. 2k .....2k.....2k......alldayyy

The shorts Jordan is wearing in the Pistons screens are the closest we've seen yet! I really hope those are the ones used in the Blazers and Cavs games as well.

Particularly Cartwright looked pretty goofy wearing knee length shorts in the Shrug gameplay video.

Anyone else feel like we don't really get a sense of Jordan flying? By that I mean that the game is not conveying the "air" and hangtime of Michael Jordan.

He's doing spectacular moves and dunks, but looks just like any other great player doing it. It's missing that something special that separates him from the mere mortals...

I think it's because video games have all these spectacular moves done by many other players, it's been a standard for years. Devs want you to have some WOW moments when you're playing, so you see many players performing MJ's moves. Not saying some players can't do it, it's just that you see it more in video games than in real life. So, when you have MJ, who's been doing it all as signature moves, it's no longer special...when you see it in a video game.

That's the way I see it.
