Any post that says something along the lines of "the graphics suck, Live 06 looked better", there's not much I can say to that. I suppose that graphic quality is somewhat subjective, but Elite is in no way worse than Live 10.

We made massive changes to the gameplay, but the rendering got incremental improvements over last year. There's just no way it could look worse.

But to each their own.

As for the people who don't like the controls, all I can say is give it some time.

I'll say this only to illustrate a point, not to get into any kind of argument (ie I will not respond to anything 2K related after this post).

I tried the 2K demo today, and lost my first quarter quarter 15 - 0. I have the Elite controls so ingrained in my head that I found the game almost impossible to play at first.

Then I realized that many, if not all of you, would feel the same way when you tried the Elite demo. Simply because the roles are reversed.

I'm not on here saying the 2K demo sucked because of my experience in that first quarter, so I can only hope the 2K fans trying out our game for the first time give us the same respect.

Hopefully the practice mode helps, but unfortunately it looks like there is going to have to be at least some desire to learn it in order to enjoy it.

As for the comments about the animation quality, we've gone over that quite a bit in the video threads.

If there are specific questions that people want answers to above and beyond what was discussed in those threads I'm happy to have the discussion.
rEAnimator,Ima be honest with you and this is coming from a basketball fan but letting mike wang go was the worst things yall could of done..I believe yall would of had a WAY better game if he was still there even tho things happen and you wouldnt of seen this many complains about your game

Don't worry, I'm not discouraged at all.
You could start with MSG. The scorers table is broken off into 3 pieces. Not 1 straight line. Live 07 had this correct, but 08-11 has this incorrect. I apologize about coming on strong.

The only time I've ever done this is if I'm in a protect dribble and my defender is on my left hip. As in a backdown. For the life of me, I can't think of another situation. However, I don't really have to THINK about what i do on the court. All of it is just, "natural".

i just cant get over how the game "looks" as far as animations goes. Its just looking weird. For some reason when i play nba elite, everything strategy wise seems to be thrown out of the window, and i dont get the feeling that none of these players on the court, actually play like they would in real life.

I can't play this or the other game and it sucks because out of my 222 post majority of them are on the nba live board. The controls suck and thats my impression first impression I don't like them maybe because I don't know them but I don't like them. I don't like the way the game feels Live 10 was perfect for me i admit the 2 man animations were over dramatic and the way the shots went in needed to be addressed as far as what hit and what didn't but this is a fail. Why are the jersey numbers shining is this something new I missed for this season? I wanna vent my frustrations but i'm not.

I'll play a little more till the NBA games release before I make a decision. I'll give EA a chance. I owe it to them. To be honest thought, I really didn't like the game play at first play.

Re: NBA Elite 11 Demo Available For PS3, Later Today For 360, Post Impressions Here

reAnimator,

my question is about real time physics. It seems that this was hyped up alot and was a key focus to this years game. However, playing the demo, I feel like there is no aspect of the game during gameplay that I "notice" a change due to RTP. Controls I feel like are different even though they can be intertwined with the concept. Can you help me understand better, I have read the blogs, etc. I just don't "see" or "feel" any PHYSICS jumping out at me. Where should I look specifically?
