NBA Elite 11 Demo Available, Post Impressions Here (PS3, 360)

As an ex Live player, I must say the demo release was great. Plenty of playable options. Elite is still too arcade like though. The controls are very different but with time I'm sure I could get use to them. I'll still be buying the "other" game again this year.

Well I know one reason why it looked so bad, I had my tv set to 1080p this demo doesnt run in 1080p...

Hopefully the practice mode helps, but unfortunately it looks like there is going to have to be at least some desire to learn it in order to enjoy it. As for the comments about the animation quality, we've gone over that quite a bit in the video threads. If there are specific questions that people want answers to above and beyond what was discussed in those threads I'm happy to have the discussion.

Thank you. It is a preference, but I cannot see anybody arguing about the graphics. I know you have said that they are at least not worse than Live 10, but they are.

I know. I hope people read my post about that cause the first time I ran the demo, it was in 480p and I was like.. whoa.. you have to have 720p enabled in your PS3's display settings for the game to look like it was intended. I'm just sayin'.

I'll say this - 2K's controls are inferior to Elite 11's. They actually suck, to me, but u guys did a pretty darn good job with Elite's. Other things is where issues lie. The controls DO make me like the demo more. Gotten used to what's here. I am pulling for an Elite 12 where those other things get worked out.

We'll then go off as a team and decide what is a candidate for a patch and what is a candidate for next year.
