No. They are calling you a troll because you're using the same ignorant and incorrect arguments that every troll uses. Do some research.

Round 2 ...Reck'd on

and what avoidable dribble animation from a steal cause i ain't never seen this and i've seen just about every steal animation in that game
He's talking about the steal attempt that switches the ball to the other hand on the dribbler. Of course, the dribbler remains standing as his initial PHYSICS dictated. But he totally ignores that.

I'm sorry. Where do I say people don't use the demo to decide? They do. It's not the ONLY and rarely is it the most significant. But, as I said, in those situations, it's a game that they've never played before OR they are looking for specific changes/improvements. This is not likely the case for this game. If it IS someone new to the game, then they are new because they are very casual gamers and they would not normally be attracted to basketball games. But there was something that drew them to the game. IF that were the case, their decision is already made and not being able to play Boston or call plays will not change those people's minds. Get it now? Or do I have to keep repeating it?

So we have computer programs that can generate car crash physics but these same principles can't be apply to basketball games. Let's be frank, the reason you don't see it employed is because sports game developers would rather the game look nice than play realistically. The backlash from backbreakers animations was stupendous. They were complaining about minute thing like an unrealistic juke. Lol. I'm not saying you can eliminate animations but you can get rid of unnecessary ones and when you do the games will feel way more realistic. Oh and love your rant about my unborn grandchildren lol. Funny how the things you said won't exist until they are born already exist lol. Good try though.
Here we go. You don't know how the Euphoria engine really works, do you? Create another thread in an appropriate forum and we can talk.

And you both don't read. He's saying that he doesn't like 2K because of gameplay (how it feels. It's just not fun to him. Or her, I don't know). Your original post was that people will choose not to buy 2K11 because of limitation in the demo. Even if he had a FULL tutorial, he would not buy 2K because that knowledge won't change how the game feel to him. The bottomline is that, again, his game of choice was already determined before even playing the demo. He's already on record as saying he doesn't like the 2K style. So, you're going to have find another person to back up your assertion that people will get turned off because of limitations of the demo.

I agree that a brand new person would have to deal with a stiffer learning curve. No argument there. And 2K has been HORRIBLE at teaching people the nuisances of it's games. This is nothing new. But if people want a tutorial, wait until Oct 5th. Until then - you have THREE week to play around and experiment and discover elements of the game. Frankly, the discovery part is what DRAWS people to the game. Is that group bigger than the group that gets frustrated and quits? I don't know. And I'm sure you don't know either. We will see. But history and the success of the series says that it just may be. People continue to play the game and discover things they never see before.

I still don't like isomotion and the movement is still herky jerky but I can live with it. I did so for years although I couldn't do it no mo' with 2K10 and didn't buy it. I'll pickup 2K11, though, mostly for the Jordan Moments.
