So, to answer your question, I'm not sure about other teams, but when it comes to the Lakers, attendance problems are illegal.
I can understand that but, i know the NBA and when a team falls from grace people dont show up in the stands. Because it wasn't that long when KB24 had nobody but Odom and a bunce a scrubs highlighted with Kwame Brown

Yes, but that doesn't mean that the NBA allows this to happen in a video game. Actually, if you think about it, the NBA has so many regulations and rules about what's right and what's wrong in NBA video games, becuase it helps them to create an atmosphere of "this is a great league, things are great!", even if not everything is great. NBA video games are just another tool used by the NBA for marketing. That's the way I see it.

Just throwing this out there, but can you imagine if nfl 2k was still around and there were these kinds of upgrades to that game? It gives me the chills just thinking about it and also makes me want to cry a little bit lol. Great job 2k, just shows why your the best around.

Long gone are the days when 2K was weak with it's presentation. Thank goodness.

I like what I'm reading and what we've seen so far. Excellent work.

I don't know who else feels the same way, but I actually feel bad for EA this year. I am pretty neutral when it comes to Live or NBA 2k. I even have bought both games some years. But this year, I don't even feel like there is any competition. At this time of the year i am usually debating if I should buy one or the other. Even way before this insight, I was sold on 2k.

It has never been so clear who will have the better game.

You've just returned this forum 3 years back. All the progress we've made through the years with the "vs" threads...now we need to start over...

Just kidding, of course!

^I second that.

Competition is great for us. Just look what's happened this year, after Live 10 made a big push and was a threat to 2k for the first time on this generation of consoles, we're rewarded with 2K11!

Luckily, no matter how poor of a game Elite is, I don't think we need to worry about a 2K let down next year, not with the base they've built. They could do nothing but refine and add animations for 2k12 and I'd probably be satisfied, the next great "leap" will happen on the next generation of consoles.

Yep if seems like it. Looks like EA is getting desperate by including NBA JAM as part of the game. It is clear (after viewing videos, playing the demo, reading previews and impressions) if you are looking for a sim and true to life experience of the NBA, NBA 2K11 is the game to get. I for one will be renting NBA Elite. If it's any good, I will be buying it sometime later when the price drops.

Competition doesn't hurt either, and I'm glad we have 2 basketball games to look forward to.
