Love the game. I like how smooth everything runs. The thing that jumped out at me was a block I had on Rondo. He was driving to the lane and layed it up, I switched to Kobe and swatted it out of bounds...(been waiting to do that for awhile). Also I notice that when I went to dunk, Kobe took a guide step and then threw down a strong 2 hand (looked very realistic). I also like how the gatorade moment of the game replay only showed up on a play that was worth, on the play I jumped up to take a jumpshot and somehow threw a behind the back pass to Gasol for a easy dunk. Everything was a plus, I just wish I could have got in a whole game, or been able to substitute (wanted to sub in Shannon Brown).

I keep asking myself what happened to all the youtube videos I see usually like 2 hours after the demo release? There are hardly any youtube videos so far...

And the fact that I can use my fav team (3 Peat comin' June 2011) makes this demo even sweeter. Dang it Sony lets get this thing crackin'!!!!!!!
I just realized, fan of the Yankees and also a fan of the Lakers... hm...

I can't believe I just read like 30 pages of this thread.

Man, this work day has been easy thanks to this thread. 60 pages of mostly insightful comments. Most of my time in the demo will be spent on getting used the player movement. Scoring and Isomotion can come after...

I understand it could just be because I have played the full game but this is just bad to me. To exclude one of your best features out of the demo is a FAIL....

So I downloaded the demo and played a few games early and haven't touched it since. MEH... and YES I'm serious.

Please use the feathering of the stick to avoid the heavy shifts in momentum. Remember the slightest defensive movements can get you open... YOu don't HAVE to cross someone if a simple change of direction will do.

I was so heavy handed coming from 2k10 that I know that has to effect more of you guys also. Try it out on both offense and defense. On d try to use the least amount of pressure that will keep you in front of your man.
On that note, it's CLEAR that you no long have "help" from the game controlling your guy. If anything, this is the biggest adjustment. Everything is on you now. So don't screw yourself. Total control. No more assist from the AI.

I can't wait to play the 2k11 demo on the PS3.

This is my annual anxious game decision. The last two years it was 2K.

I just have this feeling Elite will have the same level of control or better, but of course 2K is second to none in player animations and player models and that will be the defining difference between the two games.

I'm dying to see if 2K fixed the interior paint cheese that has become so famous for being exploited in the 2K game. That's the #2 question for me, right behind the new revamped controls.

ELite 11's demo is going to be complete with many options so I'm lookign forward to that as well to make my final decision, but 2K looks outstanding...we'll see.
