I guess I dont buy that EA is trying to be authentic when owner mode is still being omitted. And like I said in my last post, theres a slippery slope. I mean, the co-branding that exists in the form of commercials like snickers and reeses are somewhat questionable but there is already a proprietary element to the game. When you get into politics and causes it becomes a slippery slope. I mean, if the NFL wants KC to approve a new stadium to the chiefs, are they going to insist that EA put messages into the game like having the PA announcer at arrowhead remind fans to vote yes to proposition 57 (if thats the proposition for building a new stadium).

I dont have a problem with this in real life but real life is not the same as the video game. Just because its a great cause, doesnt mean it should be in the video game.

But from my perspective, its as much about aesthetics as it is anything else. I guess we're to assume that the NFL will be promoting this for the next 30 years, since thats how long it will be in franchise mode. And this is a 1/4 of the games each season.

Edit- I feel I should point out that Im not trying to be a jerk. Ive actually seen people I was very fond of die because of this. But as I alluded to before, that doesnt automatically mean it should be in the video game. It shouldnt be necessary for me to point this out but I have a feeling someone will try to call me immature.

Back on topic, that's all I'll say on it.
well said roadman.

I wonder if EA reads this stuff. cause I don't care about the cosmetic stuff they add. i care about NOT BEING ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME!!! I forked over $20 extra for coins for madden ultimate and i can't even play a human opponent. before the patch it would lock up before a player would sent the select screen. now i can play a game but then it locks up and the end and i dont get anything for the past 45 mins of time.

You guys are ridiculous sometimes man. One post is asking for socks to be changed or updated while the next post is saying the Breast Cancer awareness is too much. EA tries to be authentic and you guys hate on it, yet in the same breath bitch that the socks are the wrong tint.

And I guess since it bothers you guys so much you won't watch any NFL during the month of October because god forbid they promote breast cancer awareness.

The Ultimate Team not working is a legitimate complaint but some of you guys take the whining to a new level.

You are not immature if anything you came across very mature, I see your point about it and somewhat agree with you, there should be a option to use it or not... You handled it very mature giving your thoughts with out insulting anyone or being insensetive to other posters, I was really happy to see that a earlier poster in this thread will no longer be posting here, he felt the same way you did but couldnt be mature about it... The OS Mods are doing a great job..

Edit: Your allowed not to like it thats fine, me I like it I work with Cancer patients everyday, and love that they have to put it in the game, you dont have to like but you need to respect it and becareful with how you say you dont like it....

First of all - Sorry guys the TACKLE stat is NOT fixed.

Secondly the strategy pad is now made so that you can use the old controls (as in madden 10). But the pad still appears as the new one. Seems rather confusing to me. I might just switch off the new changes 'cause I was kind of getting used to the new pad.

Thirdly there is still no chance of coming succesfully away from trying to use play-action. The defense does just not bite.

Maybe I see a slight increase in the kick return blocking or maybe I've just been getting lucky. Gets the ball to between the 25 and 30 now regularly. That seems fine to me.

Lastly it seems that EA thought we all need to become more aware of breast cancer. Okay I can understand that, but don't you ruin my game because of it.
Now all a sudden every single player wear pink gloves, shoes, wristbands. The goal posts are pink along with half the crowd. In addition to this the NFL Logo is set in front of a pink ribbon and in the bottom of the game screen it says "Breast Cancer Awareness" in horrid pink letters instead of eg. "Monday Night Football" ... At least give me an option to turn it off?

Normally I'm very pleased with the developer's work, but this... This is just rubbish.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and they've added Madden Moments Live. Not really sure if this i a feature that will be well utilized.
Lose 3 family members to breast cancer and then complain....Sorry to seem brash....I like the Breast Cancer Awareness thing personally...But i can see how it could be annoying to some. Its VERY VERY pronounced...

Multiple lighting tweaks for improved stadium lighting

• Numerous improvements to player models and uniforms – including Titans AFL, Jets throwbacks, Vikings alternates, Jaguars uniforms

• Many camera shot improvements improved & tweaked for cut scenes

those are the biggest things for me.. the game finally looks amazing in 1080p..
