I honestly liked the video. A definite upgrade over the Cali videos and nothing that would really turn me away from the game. They focused on controls this year so I'm going to have to wait on the demo for that. That's what I really want to try out, the feel of the game because that's what they have been selling us. Doesn't look as bad as every one is trying to make it out to be.

I can't say that I'm impressed. All I can say is I could be a fun experience. But, I'll have to wait on the demo to judge.

The first thing i'm going to say is the RTP (Real Time Physics) has nothing to do with the basic animations looking like something from N64, even the player models look 2D at times. I really don't care how much control Elite has, if the game doesn't look close to real life..it's a fail.

I'm not going to totally bash the game because the presentation and commentary seemed ok, but everything else was just freaking ugly.

I'm not sure what you mean by that but what about the video we saw shows their claims to be true? Maybe you can say the video wasn't long enough but the presentation and feel in that game is almost absent.

I feel the same way. My girlfriends always wanted a wii, should I go that route and buy a whole new system? I can't see myself giving more money to EA, this product is far from worth it, imo.

lol there is so much hyperbole concerning the graphics and animations. Some are bad but nowhere near where you all are trying to put them lol.
