Speaking of dekes, the kick the puck to the skate then back to the stick, would love to know how to do that one.

Hold in the left bumper (quick deke button) and back or down on the right stick if you're skating up.

bought nhl 10 for cheap (never played it (owned and enjoyed 08 and 09 years ago)

i love it. but after playing the nhl 11 demo (even thoguh i have deleted it now) there is something missing while playing. but until i stop having fun i wont make the step up. its nice to enjoy 10 beforehand for £8.50 anyway.

can i ask, for people with the 11 demo, the one thing that bothers me about nhl 10 (in fact if this was fixed i think i would be totally in love with the game) is the lack of pressure in the neutral zone. it seems i can skate into the offensive zone with ease on all-star, and im not good enough to try it on superstar yet.

is nhl 11 different on all-star? do the other team forecheck well and push up and genuinely make it difficult to get into the zone as in real life. as thats the only facet of nhl 10 that seems rather arcadey and unrealistic.

I wouldn't know about allstar, but there's quite some good pressure from the cpu in the neutral zone on superstar. At least in my experience with the demo.

OK, maybe I'm doing something wrong but it seems whenever to press the LB button that my player loses control of the puck; he'll either push it in front or to the side of where he's skating. I guess I'm holding the button down long enough to complete the moves?

Is there a way to force the "body up against the board to stop ring around dumps/passes" animation? I could have swore I did it once on my own but can't recreate it.

Sorry, I think I worded that wrong. It works best if you are coasting. Left bumper and just tap down on the right stick. Less skilled players will miss the puck sometimes coming off their skates. Try it in the deking tutorial.

Has anyone seen anyone other than "Niemen" or Leighton win the Conn Smythe?
