We now that KyotoCarl and I understand your perspective, but we also don't know for sure that they've done the opposite (I know 2K must have improved many things from the time that video was made, but don't know exactly what)...so people are just posting their opinions just in case something slips out.

We all just want the best game possible

looks good, but the game build from gamescom still is the best out, this was a old build, heat vs mavs still best best example of 2k11 gameplay out!

Ehh its like 2 games in one. The classic team playstyles are so well done. My favorite team to play against was the Jazz 97-98 and my favorite to play with was both the 91 lakers and the Sonics with Detlef and Payton and Kemp and Perkins. OMG I had a BLAST.

If you can remember its a game and that no other game has went this far to recreate that era you can have a blast. If you feel compelled to nitpick yourself into a lather you will miss out.

If you bring your expectations down your enjoyment will go up. Just play 2k10 and imagine a game where practically everything has been improved. not PERFECT but improved you will have a fantastic OCT.

These guys who want every single thing fixed before launch are not basing their wishes on reality.

Every single thing that gets changed at this point has the chance to introduce an unknown bug into the code pre ship.

Well said. I think 2k has raised the bar so high, we expect too much from them. No game will be perfect and 2k11 has a lot of features we should be able to enjoy for an entire season.

I'm old school and I just appreciate what they have done with this game. And from the videos it seems like they have really put in work in polishing the game up. This level of depth and detail hasn't ever been done on these next gen console. We should be grateful. Some of the nitpicking is just way overboard IMO. I can't wait to play 2k11.

oh, i havent even thought about that. im praying now that short lenght is editable for all players.

People, understand that nothing we're seeing now is the final build This video could be weeks old and things might not look the same now or a month from now.
I doubt they have a month to work on this game, within a few weeks, it has to be packaged, manafactured, and ship. Next week is September. Time's running low. I'd imagine manafacturing and packaging will take some time at least, 1-2weeks. I'm guessing.

Just my say, I know nothing about the biznizz, just adding my speculation.

(and no, thats not an actual mike wang quote. (had to put that disclaimer in there.)

Luckily Mike's Smart! Can't say the same for LBJ lol.

I think 2k likes the comminity and appreciates each response even the nitpickers, imo. the nitpickers got the arm bands to be bigger, more accessories, etc. Theres room for it, just not all the time

Yup. We might have short/medium shorts on Jordan Challenge mode but when we go back to Quick Game mode using current teams in short/med shorts as well.
