yes shorts for that era is still too long and that really kills the authenticity... they need to be medium length.

i wish we could get someone to go in on saturday and fix it or at least give us the option to adjust shorts length eg. short (bad boy pistons style), medium of the 90's and the long baggy ones of today.

Wow!!!! This game is going to be sick. I really enjoyed that video. But all the users playing in these demos seem to really suck at knowing when to throw a pass. This is why I prefer the 2k cam. Anyway... I love the improved foot planting and it's good to see a taste of the old school teams.

I was hoping to see a good Jordan signature dunk in this vid. That two-handed slam by Jordan was a bit out of character. He virtually never slammed like that - should of definitely been a leaning one handed tomahawk or other one handed dunk.

Re: NBA 2K11 Video: The "Shrug" Game

MJ's free throw and jumper looked spot-on. I also like Pippen's post-up turnaround J.

Love how the AI CPU utilizes jumpers with leaners/drifters and fadeaways. Add to that the momentum jumpers and the fact that jumpshots look different depending on how long you hold the button. It makes the game and contesting shots unpredictable which is great.

I said this before but the shot contest is extremely realistic. Not jumping like a kangaroo but more stationed to the floor. Watching NBA games, the players generally don't jump too high off the ground to contest shots(or they will risk bumping/slapping the player). 2K11 got this right just like real life.

This vid was very hot. I love how they captured Mike and the rest of these guys. I like his shot too. This vid also lacks details(such as reflections) and Ron 2K confirmed that it is the same build he showed us. Despite that, still looked crazy.

Jordan certainly could have dunked in that situation but not off of that animation. You can't take a slow two step gather and have momentum needed to push back the defenders like that. It's just one of those things you accept in basketball games. We'll see how long that lasts.

I really like what I'm seeing. Sure, there are obvious nitpicks one can find in that video (incorrect shorts length and too modern-style graphics for that time period come to mind), but overall I'm impressed. Knowing that this video is from an older build also gives me optimism for the things they could have improved since then.
