LoL...Just kidding man.

edit: The "pick" button (circle/B) worked like this. If you held it down. A big man (either PF or C) would come over and set a pick and do a pick and roll. If you tap the pick button. Your big man will come over and run a pick n' slip (very effective vs a person like me who like to hegde with the big). And finally if you held L2 and circle/B. Your big man would run a pick n' pop or pick n' fade.

To me the pick and roll is the number one play ran in the NBA (or maybe basketball period).

edit2: But again...I do understand the value of what the fake button will bring. I can't tell you how many times. I would be trying to throw a post entrant pass. And watch as my defender back up a little and steal the pass.
You can do all that and people call offball defense cheese lol? I was cool with the two man plays and the quick plays.

Same here. 2K6 made a HUGE leap over 2K5 thanks to the Shot Stick (and the old Isomotion).

Some of the passing animations still aren't quite right for the passing angle that is available....and the the passer sometimes throws the ball right through the head or neck of a defender, rather than throwing a higher pass to get the ball over the defender.

Also defenders still seem too unaware of the ball. many times a pass will whiz right toward a defender and they won't even try to tip it.

at the 3:56 mark of the Magic vs Nuggets video there is a bad underhand pass that goes right through the head/neck of a defender to a streaking Vince Carter. the passer picked the wrong type of pass for that angle - he should've done a higher overhead pass to get the ball over the defender....second, the defender just stands there and doesn't even attempt to tip the ball even though the ball is going right toward him. Hopefully this type of incorrect pass selection can be tweaked.
On occasion there may be situations where a ball flies right by a defender without him tipping it, yes. But trust me, players play passing lanes VERY well in 2K11. You can't just throw the ball wherever you want...Rob made it very hard on me to tune passing because of all of his pass steals. It's well balanced now and you will soon find out that you have to be very smart and selective about your passing.
