I'm hoping that, too. Defense was virtually nonexistent in that clip. It looked more like a dunkfest than anything. That's the one thing that somewhat bothered me up to this point with 2K promoting this game....I've heard very little in the way of improvements on the defensive AI.

You are right on. This helps explain why the transistion game doesn't matter as much in 2k. Speedier players (especially big men) don't have enough room to run to the rim (of course 2k also nuetered them with stopping at half court AI).

This is sad. Really takes away from what is probably shaping up to be a great game again. One fatal flaw that will contribute to the poor transition game. And I know this isn't something that can be "patched" in. This would take a complete rework of all the 3d modeled stadiums.

mike wang isnt the lead gameplay designer for 2k he is a senior engineer so that means nothing to me... mike wangs job was to bring some of the crowd over to the live side, so in an essence he failed, meaning i dont think EA sports took it as a loss when he went back to 2k sports... Now most of the team thats working on NBA elite is the team from nba live 05 which i can say was the better game back then. So seeing that they had the better game back then I can see them making huge strides this year maybe not taking the crown, because even 2k took a few years to do that, but making a huge stride in the right direction, way better than anything mike wang ever did.. Food for thought

Maybe it has something to do with the difficulty level of the demo and not the gamestyle. Demos tend to be in a an easy-to mid difficulty levels and that maybe the cause of the ease to drive the lane and dunk it. Just an opinion.
