Nope, that was '95 through '97 if I recall correctly (as in 94-95, 95-96, and 96-97). I think it was moved back to normal for the 1997-98 season.

I wish Stern moved everything to normal again - any rule change he made in the past decade.

^Agree. Would like to see how the Wade's, the Kobe's and the Lebron's will deal with that. Would they dominate the game as they do today? (with today's rules that is)

Stern wont change it unfortunately, defense doesn't sell like offense. Stern knows this and its why you have star treatment. Same with NFL and how protective they are with QB's, have to keep your star players on the court/gridiron

So, are we locked to playing MJ or is it only for the Legend mode? I hope not becuase passing as many assists as needed is going to be tough.
