Re: New NBA Elite Quick Clip

That whole play looked like vintage Kobe.

I can picture him faking to his left, than to his right, than back to his left and hitting Ray with a fadeaway jumper in that sequence as well. Good stuff.

Hopefully you guys can tighten up on the sliding and the awareness from the off ball players. Those are really the only big negatives I see so far.

Re: New NBA Elite Quick Clip

How often does the shot go in after collision mid-air and what attribute determines it's success?

If I were QA, I would re-play mid-air collisions over and over.

I don't know all the details but there's a rating called "shots in contact" or "finish in contact". Something like that.

I think some other ratings come into play as well, but I think that's the primary on. I'm not 100% sure though.

I'll try and find out for you.

Not really impressed with this clip honestly........watching Ray Allen on Kobe reeks of last years static D...

The collision at the rim is cool, I just hope its not overdone.....or the new "mid air collision" from last year...

Ah alright, thanks for looking into it.

Would be cool if it's up to the user control of timing and aiming the shot after it gets altered, rather than ratings.

I agree completely, and it might very well be the aim at the time you request the dunk, or at the time of alteration.

That's what I would do.

I just know that the rating will affect the difficulty of the shot. I still think user input will be the determining factor in the end.

I feel exactly like you.

I can live with some sliding if I can do what I want any time.
