Gameflow is wack. There's nothin breakthrough about it. It's just "Ask Madden" with another voice-over. I like the idea of how it does speed up the game, but I hate how they try to market this like they discovered land.

Nope, not revolutionary at all, Nfl2k5 had the VIP system, 5 years ago, on inferior hardware.

I like how you mentioned nfl2k5 because that is exactly what my thought was, NFL2K5 remains my favorite nfl game ever

This gameflow is for noobs argument is as idiotic as it is absurd.nncalling your own plays doesn't show skill it shows that you have found an answer to a problem and if efect saolved the game. Running the same small group of plays is ujtterly dull and ruins, at least for me, the entire point of the game and makes it feel less organic.

I thoroughly enjoy knowing that I will be exploring the playbook and not relying on a small number of plays. It gets more players involved as has been said.

Also I love that if we're killing them on the ground we will run run run and sprinkle in some play action.

Re: Is Madden's Gameflow a Revolution or a Gimmick?

I think the that for the average exhibition game it may not be so good, at least for me. I am a franchise guy and I think that it could serve a much better function by being tied to the Offensive and Defensive Coordinator in franchise. It would be cool to only have his gameplan to work with for your team so that you'd have to be forced to get the personnel that works with it, or whatever. I think it would add an element to developing a team over years. We've seen examples of this in real life (I think the Ravens are a perfect example).

Then again, I'm always looking for ways to improve Franchise, so that's my slant. I just don't play many exhibition games, and if I do, I'd prefer they "count" for something I'm building toward... ala online dynasty.

It's a glorified 'ask madden' feature, anyone who can't see this is blind. The things they tell you are so common sense you would have to be 9 years old or a 1st time football game player, like if my girlfriend was playing.

It'll be 3rd and 7 and they'll say "make sure you get pressure here, we've got to stop them here", ummmm ok?

All this is, is 'ask Madden'. Wondering why the ask Madden feature was gone this year? Because this is it.

If calling your own plays results in only running a small group of plays... that's your fault.
