The real question is why was Artest dunking in the 1st place?

He's doesn't have that type of lift anymore and that's saying a lot because he wasn't very atheletic coming into the league to begin with
http://www.ibiblio.org/craig/draft/1...rs/artest.html

This is Ron Artest 10 years later and his game simply doesn't make that dunk realistic because he can barley jump anymore

To make things worse, I think he had a bet with Derek Fisher to see whom was the worst finisher in the NBA. For Ron hit a three, finish a lay-up, and dunk the ball in the same game was miracle. It damn near guaranteed a win. I would then go play Powerball, because my odds of winning were the same. If Ron did all those things in one night, surely I could win $270 million. Unfortunately, I never won the money. But Ron did just enough at the right time to help the Lakers win their 16th O'Brien Trophy.

This is his lift while in Houston

This is his lift in LA now

Please EA tell me you aren't still using those overated vertical ratings for the 5th straight year?

I know Artest is only one guy but that 1st impression just reminds me of the things guys shouldn't be doing in the game.....which has been something that irks me since the series has gone to Next Gen.

EA needs a system like they have in Madden when a guy gets older his attributes change for his physical ability. Artest looked like he was back in his 1st or 2nd year in the league on that dunk.

if possible that would be real cool to have more than two teams this year for the demo, and i don't mean an nba team and a fiba team. Lakers vs Boston obviously, Clippers vs Raptors as the two lesser teams. IT would show the spectrum of the two top vs the two weaker teams in the league.

This was just a couple of months ago when he did this one.
THis was a two step dunk

Im not saying hes a high flyer or anything but according to the video he had wide open lane with momentum. Artest didnt play as he usually does last year but some of that is do to the role he was playing.

Re: NBA Elite 11 Videos: 3 Quick Clips

well from that video, you can see that rasheed can hold his own . Given that it was just a two step slam, and not a lot of momentum, maybe the results would be different if artest was running full force. Hopefully with the ratings being implemented, we'll be able to see more realisitic results.

as for Bynum losing the ball, yea he's not the greatest of ball handlers, but I hope this doesn't mean that every big man (PF or C especially)

Re: NBA Elite 11 Videos: 3 Quick Clips

totally agree with playmakers. hate to compare to 2k10 but ron should have the rimgrazer package. when people like him dunk they get high enough to dunk butits not always clean and they dont take off from that far. sorry best example i could think of

I see what u sayin But come on, how many times do things happen like that in the nba coming from a pf or c? Im sure u will have handles with some pf's and c's in elite......And look at the person in the vid...It's gasol not bynum....The vids dont add up bcuz these are completely different big men....The clipped showed bynum trying to dribble not gasol....no beef here though
