Heck, I have Davis at only an 81 because he is so pitiful at blocking!

true. i can see that now. he isnt awful i dont think but he is far from tops in the league. i forgot blocking goes into the rating ha

Out of the 108 TEs that took a snap last season...he was 102nd in run blocking....that's BAD man.

how do they grade run blocking? like what goes into the rankings


cause from watching 17 games last year i didnt see anything that would make me say "he is in the bottom 10 for blocking"

Well they do watch every down of every game...so I guess it is as good as we can get. However, I also incorporate scouting data and stats so its not all one way here.

also, according to them, out of all starting TE's in the league (players hwo player 75% or more of teams snaps) celek was ranked #9.


EDIT: okay, to be fair only 16 te's played 75% or more of teams stats. if you bump it down to 60, there is 27 and celek falls to 13th, but thats an average of 11th. so i was one off by saying he was top 10

He is definitely a great receiving TE, but because of that horrible blocking, I can't rate him any higher.
