A.I. looks like Grandpa Iggy in that Live Pic. Imo none of the game photos in this thread are super accurate. With Iggy working so closely with 2k, I'm surprised they are having such a hard time getting his model right in game.

The face is a bit off, but I can live with that, that's just a minor thing (jawline or whatever). The thing that is way way off is the body overall and the shoulders/arms specifically. They just doesn't seem right for a NBA player (even though Iguodala has a strong build IRL) and seem like something you would expect on WWE SvR for John Cena or someone like that, not a basketball player

Take 2k10, put it on your HDTV, and it looks much sharper than that.

I have a feeling it's for lowering the expectations. Then, when they release the final built, it will create a more surprising effect.

It's almost like they enlarge his arms on purpose because his hands don't look to be in proportion to his arms. The shoulders too are really accentuated. This is the second pic now where the thighs seem to be skinny.

I often wonder if size is purposefully large to still show detail when zoomed out.

It may be, if you make them perfectly proportioned, zoomed out they may look too awkward or skinny.

But that doesn't excuse the attention to face detail to be so off. Nose, chin, nose are not even close on Iggy. If we accept unrealistic beefy players, at least have their faces realistic.
