Shame really.

I agree 100%. The NFL is all about parity but yet it let a major product get made by only one company. Competition breeds change and progress. I respect the developers but they act like they could care less about the game. All they do is hide behind the "oh we are focused on game play" statement. So they use that as a reason that they ignored the fact that Chris and Gus sound like they aren't in the same stadium.

I mean how could know one in that company bring that up..."um hey does anyone i this room realize our announcing is terrible?" I am not trying to disrespect them but how could these things get ignored unless your lazy. Just my opinion.

Fixed.

Gus is a big improvement over Hammond.

One of the little things that I noticed was that they play the Jeopardy music when the refs are reviewing a play on instant replay. Pretty cool.

The sound is awful right now. I thought when I turned off gameflow it would fix this but it didn't. It's really annoying having the crowd go from screaming to complete silence before every play. Like almost everyone else I don't like the defensive adjustments on the d-pad. I don't care for the new (old) kick meter either.

I hope they fix these things because I enjoy playing Madden more than NCAA but as of right now I would be playing NCAA a lot more than Madden.

Re: Madden NFL 11 Demo Available Now, Please Post Impressions Here

I just want to feel like they really listen. I know they have these interviews where they say fans are important, I just wish they would tell us what fans they mean. Because thousands of madden people all the time complain about presentation, and other items, here are my main ones

1. Youve owned ESPN rights for how long? What is the hold up?

2. Why can't announcers be recorded together?

3. Can you make more than 3 ref models? I mean their generic guys but the same refs don't do every game

4. Can you please make a few more cut scenes than just 2 or 4? Every player doesn't hi five all the time.

5. If a franchise is 30 years, why can't the announcer say "Welcome to Superbowl 50"? Is there some rule against that. I mean Gus could take 20 minutes and record that, right?

6. Ok so we have all seen the new Superbowl endings, and I like em.....accept , the fact that its the same after every one!! How about a different cut scene other than commissioner in same darn position? man put some effort into depth of peripheral items please.

7. Ok franchise...I know that they are hampered down with old code...but can I at least switch franchise teams please...I don't want to do 30 years with one team!

8. When I relocate a team why do i have to change uniforms, maybe i want to keep the same uniforms.

9. And that brings me to uniforms!!! Listen there are millions of young talented designers out there who will work for pennies to design logos for madden created teams! The stuff they have on there is a joke! Man they should have a contest and have designers all over the world designing fresh new logos.

There is much more but im tired.

On special teams, I kicked off to the corner and ran out of bounds on coverage , came back in and was the first to contact the receiver...no flag.

Three times in a row in the first quarter I kickoff and hit the return man with the hit stick and he fumbles.

Not too bad of a demo. I'm impressed. The flow of the game is really smooth. I like it.
