Re: NBA 2K11 Preview and New Screenshots (IGN)

Why isn't there "Work in Progress" on these screenshots, anyway? I know those are early because of some issues like in the Boozer one. But why not letting the readers know that those are really early screens? Or even better: why even putting any screens?

Because its 2k marketing at its best!

But no really, if there weren't screens we'd be complaining about there not being any..

Not me, but to each his own. The main focus of this article should be the controls/gameplay - not the graphics. With the graphics there it just draws some of the attention away to where it shouldn't be drawn.

It's like I know what I want to do but it just won't let me. Also happens in My Player I try to cut but they give me the ball before I can even try. Offense doesn't have to revolve around you for every possession.
Yes, exactly correct.Playing with player lock is great, but the A.I. needs a to be more aggressive, especially if you call a play that isn't for you. They should encourage Player Lock more, it is still better than MyPlayer in a lot of ways, even though it is the same thing.Being able to not waste a bunch of time building up some player and getting right to the action is what makes Player Lock better than My Player...Not that MyPlayer isn't a great idea, but in away that is more of a long haul avenue...Jumping right in with Player Lock gives you the same experience right off the bat and more instant gratification to experience the game at it's fullest in solo player mode.

Good Read Im Still Waiting For The Gameplay Videos To See If The Player Models Have Changed Or At Least Upgraded From 2K10 IMO The Players Were To Small And Court Spacing Was Off Still A Buy But Thats What I Expect To Be Fixed Like The Total Passing Control Its Was Great In Live 10....:clap

Don't know if it was posted, but someone asked Ronnie2K what was the build in the IGN article, and Ronnie replied:

"Far from a final one, but pretty recent."

The most important part of the hundreds of Plays is that they can be executed properly!
