Im not judging the strategy pad until i play at least 20 full games. I think that once you use it over and over it will become second nature like the old config.

If it does indeed wind up crippling the defense in any way, i am NOT going to be happy. I'm tired of offense dominating Madden. BALANCE is key.
I agree with alot of what you said but overloads are not the same as nanos..for I play online alot(alot is a understatement) but when I run into a nano blitzer it just becomes very frustrating people are sacking me before my lineman can even get their arms up to block then I go to shotgun and I get just like a .2 seconds of time more and because of CBs pressing I cant even throw it to my wr after he burns the corner because Im sacked, Im not for or against the strategy pad really but Im on the leaning side to liking it because it stops BS like nanos..

1. Blocker standing 2cm away from a defender watches him go by.
2. Corners playing flat zones let quick drag and flat routes to the sidelines demolish them.
3. CPU quarterback gets rid of the ball before every attempted sack. Somehow grounding doesnt get called.
4. Break tackle animations turn defenders into onlookers.
5. Players either catching or swatting passes without ever attempting to look at the ball.
6. DB's getting beat way too easily in man coverage when drag routes over the middle are ran.
7. DB's that know the receivers route before they even make their cuts.
8. Too many broken tackles by subpar players.
9. KR running by the ball on squib kicks.
10. Defensive players clearly looking at the ball not even reacting/jumping/swatting/intercepting the pass.

Yea but how can a user particularly set these things up purposely to happen?

I thought the video was pretty great. That said, I messed with the strategy pad just a bit and I don't see what the problem is. Practicing a few times in quick games gets the muscle memory down and it goes pretty quick from there, at least for me. I don't usually try to do more than one or two things per play, if that, though. I'd imagine for those that like to re-route everyone it could be a problem.

bingo

If your the type of player who only makes 1 or 2 maybe 3 adjustments, maybe you get by ok

But there are others out there like me....who have to do a lot of adjusting just to get our Teams D to even remotely move like their real life counter parts

Even with the adjustments like we had before, the playbooks needed a lot of work......now this SP amplifies that X1000

These things don't have any personality or soul in them much at all
