im on ps3, and it may be more comfortable than using a 360 controller, but it sure isnt much better. u have to press up with the dpad, then chosse your wr then dpad for your route then another face button to exit the menu, madden 10 was a great game bc they finally removed using the dpad for most things, like pass rush and went to the joy sticks, which is funner and easier to use, and nw to go back to the dpad is kind of stupid in my opinion bc it is not only easier but funner when u barely ever have to use the dpad anymore, plus since there is another button u have to press b4 the snap u have less time to do so bc they snap the ball which makes it harder especially when your game speed is on fast or even normal. plus they need to fix the problem when u hit the qb he almost always the ball, which isnt realistic bc in real life they say either throw it away or take the sack (live to fight another day) bc if u throw when your getting hit its not going to go where u aimed so that means turnover a good portion of the time or even a touchdown. plus if u have a good offense on madden u can always win the battle vs a even better defense, ex i tear darrelle revis a new 1 even on all madden not always using reggie wayne, bc the toe touch which is why i hope next year i hope they add something to make it more even where the db's can catch bc revis, bailey, asomaugh, drc, woodson and many other actually can catch, just balance it out since 09 was a interception fest even using manning or brady, balance is something not done often on madden (which is why madden 04 was almost perfect) bc some int's but also some td passes and td runs

I believe this error isn't in the final version. I just checked the E3 videos from K0ACHK's YouTube account. He did a run play & when he pressed the strategy pad, it showed Hot Routes.. Not for sure though..

There are not enough plays in the playbooks that allow you to call a play then make no adjustment.. You have to adjust no matter what.. Sometimes that calls for 5 different adjustments.. Blitzing the A-gaps with two LBs.. then putting both DEs in contains while still having the DTs blitzing down.. It's difficult to do that in M11.. In M10.. It's simple.

So now I think the S-Pad was a brilliant move......

I think to prevent this is a large part of the reason for the switch. Basically EA wishes you'd stop doing what you're doing

so they want us to run their unrealistic plays? if they gave us better plays to combat certain a.i. deficiencies then this wouldn't be an issue and. If people are happy with this because they couldn't keep up with the massive adjustments needed that's fine and all but it's not sim because the default playcalls out of the 4-3 are not realistic. Especially considering in real life, a lot of things are done presnap in order to throw off a quarterbacks reads. Again we shouldn't of been restricted, there should of been more ways to counter it.

Then you need to come from a different angle. Based on that video, it's clear to me why EA put in the strategy pad. It's too bad they penalized straight players vs players that set up nanos.

I think instead of calling for the end of SP, people should start asking putting in more defensive plays for the 4-3.

Maybe that would be easier to patch or tune with their tuner.

Just give a more detailed playcalling system and or tiered system. Then the ton od pre snap adjustments wouldn't be needed.
