Honestly, over the past two days, I've read the same thing about 5,000 times. There's no point to continue beating a dead horse.

Instead, I would like to know when we can realistically expect EA to get us a fix. Or how could we go about getting on their butts to correct it?

Out of all the posts on this thread, claystone's is the only one that even registered with me. He suggested EA should allow users to edit all ratings on all teams for all years. It might not be perfect, but at least he's thinking progressively.

I suggest the rest of us begin to do so...

While that proposal would be a fix, it is absolutely ludracris. If EA just got things right to begin with, it would be no worry. Why should we have to fix what should have been right to begin with? Last year's game was great as far as ratings and progression. Why did it have to be changed? Were people complaining? No, not really. Now, everyone is up in arms because it has been effectively destroyed.

Re: NCAA's Broken Dynasty Mode -- Another reason we need a revolution

I'm always disappointed when officially sanctioned writers given in and use the same tired buzz words that choke the life out of the discussions in the forums. Oh, well it is what it is.

We see now the true fallout from the ridiculousness that went on last year when there was a more prominent developer presence on the football boards. Last year we would have at least been given an acknowledgement of their awareness of the pressing issues, and a rough estimate of when it might be fixed.

This year, total silence. This is probably a smart move on their part, better to wait until they are ready to release the next patch, but for us its much more nerve wracking to have to have no idea when they might remedy the situation.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

So a fix is ludacris? What do you want man? For it to be right in the first place?

BREAKING NEWS! THIS JUST IN! It's a little late for that.

Let's send them a petition or a letter. Get one of the OS contacts to try and get an update. Perhaps strike up a boycott of their products. Doing that would be productive, our ranting is not.

No ####. I realize it's too late for that. I'm saying for next year's edition. Or like it should have been this year because they shouldn't have messed with it. I don't want to have to work a million times harder to change player's ratings to make the game accurate like it already should be. EA should be able to patch fix the ratings and such just like they did last year instead of giving us an option to do it ourselves.

However, I will agree with your last part.

Re: NCAA's Broken Dynasty Mode -- Another reason we need a revolution

I have also noticed that after 4 or 5 seasons the players you recruit and their progression ceiling being really low,I believe this is patchable and hopefully it will be.Someone here also mentioned the new max progression gimmick EA is selling for NCAA dynasty, now that may fix the problem on the user controlled team but as stated by the OP the rest of the cpu teams in the game get progressively worse as you go deeper and deeper into dynasty.....

It boggles my mind how EA can pay people to play test its game and yet no one notices these kinds of things before the game is released and most people here have noticed it within a few days of having the game??????

I'm curious to see how it affects our OD. Might have to change up my recruiting approach a lil.

Not to be argumentative here (...but I am...), but what exactly gameplay-wise needs to be rebooted in Dynasty mode? The way I see it, the mode has at least linearly improved year-over-year, and online dynasty in particular is the main reason I even buy NCAA Football at all.

On top of that, there's only so many ways that one can emulate building a college football program in video game form. While I acknowledge the merits of the historic program scenario proposal in your article, I'd posit that most people buying NCAA Football would rather play with their current-year teams.

That the act of recruiting is actually a significant gameplay challenge this year ought to be a welcome enough change gameplay-wise to warrant some praise, IMO.

Finally, while I do agree that there needs to be more emphasis on the head coach of each team in Dynasty mode, my ultimate point now is that what exists now is, IMO, more than fine, and there's no reason to just throw everything out and start over.
