I'm still buying but this roundtable pretty much confirms that Madden is back to being lazy. And why not Backbreaker sucks and 2K turned in their man card.

For MAdden11, all they (EA) needed to do was add GAMEFLOW as a DLC to MADDEN10; charge us $10, and continue with the adaptation of real time physisc to Madden12. if you have played NCAA11 and have run the ball with this locomotion thing; you still see alot of those cheesey break tackle moves from Madden10; and you can take this to the bank that Madden11 has the same. No really new innovation for Madden11. Ncaa11 looks great, because they always run a year behind Maddens engines. This year, they are on even par; Telling me, next year is going tobe the big year for Madden. Get ready to be disappointed in Madden11. Watch all those videos from E3, and they all look pretty much like Madden10; except 'gameflow', with sprinkles of locomotion. Remember, locomotion is only played on offense; everything else is the exact same.

Obviously a lot of this quote is wrong, but this part especially, i'm not sure if you can even speak for Ncaa as apparently you haven't played. Lol at the Madden forums, c'mon people.

Check out the bad angles and arm tackles, how does locomotion not make a big difference?

i got a very negative vibe reading these impressions. it feels like you two are holding back for some reason. like, holding back a lot of "i don't like this game" type of stuff. i'm going to shelve these impressions and see what people think of the final product.

Playing as a D-Lineman is an exercise in frustration. If you thought it was tough to get to the QB in NCAA11, you haven't seen anything yet. The rewritten line AI works great by eliminating suction blocks, but it is down right impossible to sack the QB. If you manage to get past your offensive line assignment, be ready for the opposing QB to magically ditch the ball as your defender is draped all over him -- every single time.
Wow. Just wow. Same issue as last year. Wonderful.

3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.
