Madden NFL 11 Demo Roundtable

Looks like I'll be renting Madden 11 and sticking with FOF 2007 and Backbreaker to get my football fix.

I am skipping buying madden 11. I am not excited about this year's game. Maybe the reviews will tell me something different, but I doubt it.

LoL, EA has to know what they are doing, honestly, this is crazy. I love madden and often overlook the flaws but the guys doing this review only confirmed what I thought from the 1st trailer and things headed for madden this year. Stale and repetitive. I don't think i'll skip playing the game but it just won't be the same. I think madden 12 be the 1, I mean how long can this lame trend continue. They know what they are doing, they have to.

I'm still buying but this roundtable pretty much confirms that Madden is back to being lazy. And why not Backbreaker sucks and 2K turned in their man card.

Anyone else find Chris's statements in the review really annoying? According to him, you're either a Madden fan or you're a "blind" *****. No in between, like you know, people who actually hate the direction of the game for good reasons.

But even saying that, you know Madden 11 is in trouble when a guy of Chris's caliber (a person who really really WANTS to like Madden) hands out sharp criticisms of the game. And not any criticisms, but ones that directly target one of Madden 11's major features - locomotion.

Well the Human D Pass rush can be tuned a little in a patch along with tuning the AI QB a little bit not to get rid of the ball every little time you get near him to sack him. Both of these can be patched if enough people complain about to EA before the first patch.
