Please, answer this!

Team play mode has a problem with PAUSING & QUITTING.

The pausing does not only delay the game, it becomes annoying and it encourages people to quit the game. Not to mention it disrupts the flow of the game and the mood of the people playing it. Could you guys implement it so when someone pauses the game it doesn't pause it for everyone else and what it does is give them an on the fly small menu where they are able to choose camera view and do a quick sub?? NBA 2K9 had this kind of menu and mechanism.

And quitting! Nothing more annoying than quitters. It takes the joy out of playing online when people start quitting just because they can. Is there any way you guys could address the with some sort of penalty? Like penalizing players for quitting continously and repeatedly?

Alsoooo, it'd be great if you guys could make it so the gamertags appear under the players they are using. The fact that players are anonymous encourages them to do whatever they want, including ballhogging and talking trash and being annoying because nobody knows who they are. Also it'd be nice to get recognition if you play good and it will also encourage people to play better.

These are the biggest concerns for me for the part of the game that adds the more replayability to it. Please answer.

Hello you guys, just wanted to say I'm excited for october after seeing what is being said by you developers. Elite looks like it will be just that. Just one question:Will there be a beta possibly? I know sports games usually don't do open betas but I'm just crossing my fingers.

Believe me, it's real. I've felt it already. The pressure of the game winning three makes it that much harder to execute the controls and that makes the game so much more fun to play than ever before.
I'd like to respectfully disagree with this if I may.

I agree that part of that "fear" should belong to the user, but it should also be put into the virtual player that we're controlling. Even if we're a little shaky on the shot, guys like Ray Allen should be able to make jumpers with defenders closing out at a good rate. Allen himself probably has an innate fear (or "cautionary awareness" as he'd probably say) that he may get his shot blocked, but he pretty much shoots regardless and is able to ignore it.

It's like if we're on the free throw line with Ray Allen as opposed to Shaq. Even if we don't shoot the free throw perfectly, Ray Allen will still make it at a good clip (unless we miss terribly with the stick) because he's that good. With Shaq however, we have to move the stick absolutely perfectly-- one small slip up at all, and he throws up a brick.

It should be the same with FGs during play-- we should be allowed a little leeway so to speak with great shooters, while non-shooters should be easily rattled even if we get the release near-perfect.

Know what I mean?

Throw in a option on double teaming in the paint only and you got a winner...

Linking together moves is the main goal behind the new dribbling in Elite. The dribbling has a very natural one-to-one feel and the transitions between moves are pretty seamless. You can get as creative as you want when stringing moves together.

And yes, the scenario you describe above can be replicated with the new controls.
