But there are obviously still several aspects of the game ("engine") that we weren't happy with after 2K10. When I talked to the guys about coming back, we discussed the state of the game and what needed changing. Everyone was on the same page and I was happy to hear that steps had already been taken to begin addressing my concerns.

Anyway, a lot of the legacy problems that you guys have griped about are ancient history to us. 2K11 is a facelift year for gameplay in several ways, and we're excited for you guys to see our new face.

It's nice to hear you clear up many of those misconceptions that remain since you left and then returned to Visual Concepts. I think any person that goes back and plays the last solely developed NBA 2K on PS2 or XBox and then throws in NBA 2K10 sees that they are night and day in comparison.

The series has come along way in many aspects since NBA 2K6, and I'm sure that it will continue to improve under the eye of you, Rob Jones and the rest of Visual Concepts (basketball). I'm really anxious to see how the series has moved even further this upcoming season. But, please tell me y'all haven't changed your face to look like the "cat woman," Meg Ryan or Lil' Kim....

Re: New NBA 2K11 Trailer

So Beluda already said on the first page and it was repeated on several other pages that most of the trailer was video from 2k10 with a few snippets of 2k11 very few, yet we still get stupid comments about how it looks like 2k10, "really" in my Stewie voice.

Re: New NBA 2K11 Trailer

Well, not everyone reads the entire thread (neither do I, sometimes), so people will keep saying that. No big deal.

Re: New NBA 2K11 Trailer

Beluba, can I ask what changes were made in the art department outside of player models. Mainly accerries and shoes. Will we have a wide variety of options?

Re: New NBA 2K11 Trailer

Beluba.. Thx for answering some of our ?'s n being involved in here.. I know this isn't a Q n A thread but I would like to def know few stuff.. Idk if u r going to comment inside my other thread I made about 2k Online which is on the 1st page..

I need to know this.. I'm an online competitor n love competition.. Yes we all know that there will b new servers to make it run smoother.. But wat about the competiton?? Seems like online is a lost soul fo 2k.. Same leaderboard bs... Wat happen to rank games meaning something.. U wanna know y alot of forum members don't care to much about rank matches?? Cuz alot of the top 100 r Bums.. They play 1000 gms n more in just one month.. I remember the days in 2k6 for original xbox when it was about quality wins over quanity gms.. They had a great elo system... Can u guys bring that n spectator mode for 2k11?

Also it was great when we had rank lobbies.. It felt more of an online community when I can go into a rank superstar or halloffame lobby.. Talk alil in da chat room, have fun wit other players then play games.. Now it's all messed up ever since 2k9.. Alot has complained yet u ignore us... Newayz hope online is change for the better this year... N change the menus cuz 2k10 menu is trash... Ghost
