I really don't think it would stop people from complaining that franchise mode didn't make it in. I'm sure OS will hear that till the end of the year.
We are both way off topic but, yeah it would have. Not that I would of believed it but saying it ealier would have at least made the part about giving them our franchise ideas, more credible. LOL! I agree some people would still complain but announcing this earlier would have been wise, IMO.

Like somebody once said, wisdom is timing. It's not the ish say or how you say ish but when you say ish, that makes it wise.

On topic, how will "swagger" be calculated for imported NCAA Football 11 draft classes? Is that rating hidden in NCAA Football 11 or tied to an existing rating in that game? I want every player I draft out of the "U" to have high swagger, even 6th and 7th rounders. Players from the IVY leagues.........not so much!

its not that this is a bad rating or idea, i just think that with how incredibly broken this game has been for years, i think if they are going to add new ratings this shouldn't be top priority. like someone else said. clutch or composure rating. and PLEASE fix the angles that players take on interceptions. i don't think i can handle another year of 2-4 picks taken back for 6 per game again.

...so when you get flagged for excessive celebration we will see a pop-up stating that "....this excessive celebration penalty is brought to you by Old Spice."????

If this thing works...cool. At the very least it should hopefully govern the instances where someone like a Brady or Manning do a QB sneak and jump up to the first down pose...or shimmy back to the huddle...

I just hope it is not overdone. If they could only make players appear in a remotely good mood after they win - that would be great!!! Hopefully we dont see the same guy who jumped around like he was on fire after a first down walk off the field after a huge win like his dog just got run over by a bus.

ok a waste of time, or they should have just let us discover this after purchasing the game.
so if patrick willis smacks brad smith coming across the middle he gonna get up and start flexing his brawn to his sideline.. and we calling the old spice swagger rating... wow ... that should be there just cause
who cares, get the tackling right.

Individual player personality/animation is a historically sore spot for EA football games in my opinion. This isn't a bad addition. I'd like to see some character out there. Maybe this is a first step towards that.

As far as the advertising end, as long as we're not getting in-game commercials like SteveOS mentioned in his blog, I'm not going to really care to be honest.

I'll have to check out the historical 1994 SF 49ers...

Merton Hanks' swagger?

I don't mind the actual rating itself but the idea of having it sponsored really annoys me.

And why does AP have a 99 swagger rating? That makes no sense IMO. Sure he does his little signature run into the endzone but he doesn't go out of his way to celebrate like a TO or Ochocinco does.
