Madden NFL 11 "Swagger" Rating Explained (MyMaddenPad)

I think it's a great idea! It brings more personality into the game. I don't want to see a tough as nails FB doing some stupid dance move that he would never do in real life. On the other hand I do want to see those real showboating players react how they would in real life. Having a rating like this allows for realistic player celebrations/antics as opposed to some randomly generated animation that would be completely out of character for some real life players.

Adding a simple rating for celebration isn't the same as someones personality, it's not that simple. This is a very basic feature/rating imo, and all the players are probably going have identical celebrations, and not their unique personalites and gestures. So this feature is strictly what it says it's going be, a celebration rating, not a personality rating which is much different. Brett favres personality and celebrations are much different than chad johnsons.

I have no idea if there are real life player's celebrations....but that was not my point.

I don't want to see a FB high stepping down the field, it would look stupid and most likely be out of character for him. However seeing Randy Moss doing it would be quite expected.
Swagger at least attempts to add a little more realism to "what we see on Sunday".

I bet a lot of players are going to be more upset about this rating then their speed, or Overall rating.

"What?!, I don't mind being a 63 OVR, or having 81 speed, but my Swag should be 99, son."
