The OL didn't hold on to the ball, the OL didn't hit him, the OL didn't fumble it and if I remember correctly, the play that caused the fumble was a blitz, Rodgers failed to read the blitz and held the ball too long, ergo SACK/FUMBLE.

Rodgers is an excellent QB but the guy has his faults like every other QB and to pretend that isn't the case is delusional. If you know your OL sucks so bad, as you say, why hold the ball so long?

It's basic- if a piece of wood will break if you stand on it for more than 2 seconds, then don't stand on it for more than 2 seconds or it will break.
I agree. The protection was actually pretty decent for a blitz on that play. He had 3 seconds before he was hit. Rodgers should've seen the guy coming, too. I mean it wasn't from his blindside or anything.

Obviously Rodgers played great in that game, but to just pass all blame off on the O-line isn't right. Here's the highlights to that great game. Rodgers obviously played very well, but the Cards blitzed him all night and the offensive line actually played pretty well for the most part. So if you blame the O-line for the fumble, you gotta give 'em credit for a bunch of the big pass plays, too.

It never should have been a fumble in the 1st damn place. Especially when you damn near have your head ripped off by your facemask as the ball is coming out.

Screw the refs, they have been responsible for every loss in Packers history.

Jason Peters is no longer a top10 LT?
Brent Celek is not a better TE than Heath Miller?

You mean the Jason Peters that gave up 11.5 sacks in 13 games in 2008 and last year was graded as the worst at his position, according to Football Outsiders.
"It's a crime that Peters made the Pro Bowl in his first season with the Birds after signing a six-year, $60.657 million contract.
He led the team in penalties with 11, allowed 7 sacks and gave up four hurries. The Eagles sorely need Peters to improve his pass blocking no matter who is under center."

As far as Celek, I 100% agree with you.

the ball was out his hands before he touch is mask,Facemask or not the ball fell out his hands so you should be pissed at that and you should be pissed at the play before also. Like im pissed Mcfadden is *** and Racker is *** well only in the clutch. But it was Facemask

2008 performance should not grade 2010, and Peters improved on the disastrous '08 campaign. McNabb, quite a few times as he prone to doing, held on the ball way too long scuffling around in a pocket collapsing in all directions and Peters...most of the time blocking the opposing D's best pass rusher was victim to his QB not getting the ball out.

Re: Madden NFL 11 Player Ratings: Top Players at Each Position (K0ACHK)

Matt Leinart - 75 but Derek Anderson -67(lol i never cared to look at DA rating in the past)? First Ken Whisenhunt chooses players that compliment his style of play, so in the league other than Big Ben, DA is his type and shows Matt Leinart is not his type. But Ken is giving Leinart a chance since he was behind a FHOF for 3 years and shown improvement(i wouldnt count week 17 lol). My question is DA is more proven then Leinart but why do he have a lower rating. Second Leinart speed is a 54 same as in madden 10(same as kurt warner in madden 10, But Leinart 40 is a 4.97, thats faster than Tebows.? Third. These guys hate Tim Hightower, they didnt have a pic for him last year, now they didnt improve his rating. Here a vid of the first 10 teams rosters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqIPhPeeetU

You have to incorporate 2008 into a players 2010 rating. If someone has an awful 2008 but was good in 07 and 09 then you take 08 as an anomaly and give the player a good rating but when you give up 11.5 sacks in 08 then give up a further 7 sacks and are ranked the worst LT in the league in 09, that isn't an anomaly, that's a trend.

Take L Tomlinson as an example, when he started tailing off, EA gave him the opportunity to prove the poor season was an anomaly and he just needed a good offseason (much like coaches do for players also) but when LT came out last year and was average again, the trend is that he's now average and he's now rated as such.

The real question should be, how is J Peters not ranked in the bottom 5 of starting Left Tackles given his performances. I have no doubt he's still rated 85+ on the game but in all honesty, he should be lower than that.
