Tackling is horrid. Ben roethlisberger broke every first tackle. Mendenhall has 6 Broken tackles in a 4 min quarter half.
Some positives though: I kinda liked locomotion and the QB inaccuracies.

Ok guys.....look, the game was played on all madden. I dont think the gameplay was ever that good on that setting. At best, the game should be played on all pro with slider adjustment. What i took from that game was

1.dynamic attendance

2.sideline catch animations are noticeable.( even though the the ball was thrown out of bounce , there was still an attempt to keep both field in bounds)

3.graphical improvements via lighting and overlays

4.better commentary from gus johnson.

all those broken tackles and fumbles are a direct (unrealistic) product of being on All Madden. I would love to see some full game footage of allpro.
I know there is more footage out there from E3. maybe Ian and co could post some videos on the allpro setting.

I guess uniforms don't get dirty? No field degeneration? EA alternates things in and out of their games, which is bad! Big Ben sure ran alot, maybe just due to good coverage. Oh well, not really into Madden this year anyway, but would love some news to change my mind.

I didn't see any uniforms dirty at all nor did I notice any field degradation. Did they forget to add this? I loved how the unis got all muddy during rain games in Madden 09. Why in the world did they ever take that out?

Troy Polu looks like a beast in the vids, I'm glad they fixed tron running. Its actually a joy to watch players running in pursuit.

As for the gameplay.....anyone who can't stand to have played Madden in the past probably wont like this one either


Theres tons of things I think they need to fix, if they want to be considered the same type of quality that other sports games have(Forza,GT,NBA 2k, The Show,NHL)

I seriously think it is a design descision to keep "Roll 'n Chuck" in the game.....because God Forbid little Timmy not be able to pimp out his highlights to his 3rd grade friends

When has Forza or GT ever suffered in sales because it was "too Sim", or any sports game for that matter


yet I regress.....Im still going to get the game and spend many a nights slider tweaking. I just love my football too much.....its a vicious cycle

There is only a few minor improvements that make it look like Madden 11. Without those, someone would think it was Madden 10.
