Just another reason to have formation, system based ratings for positions. (cover2 CBs v man CBs, NT v DT, 3-4 OLBs v 4-3 OLBs).

thats cuz 3-4 LB's are on the field every down and have to do things like cover WRs more often than 4-3.And i think we can all say it takes more skill to be a cover coner than zone...and dont get me wrong about 4-3 LBs,imma eagles fan and i think we got the best group out there but it is what it is

Just going to repost this for people saying Peterson isn't a 98 player or that he fumbles too much to be rated as high as previous RB legends:

1st three seasons:

Marcus Allen: 2879 yards / 33 tds / 27 fumbles
***Jim Brown:3798 yards / 40 tds / 14 fumbles***
Barry Sanders: 4322 yards/ 43 tds / 19 fumbles

Adrian Peterson: 4484 yards/ 40 tds / 20 fumbles

More yards than all of them, only less TDs than Sanders, far less fumbles than Allen, similar fumbles to Sanders.

*** Only played 12 game seasons.

Nope, Ryan Grant has had simular numbers to Adrian Pederson the last couple of seasons. So why the hell isn't he a 98 overall?

And there's that infamous Packer blind bias again.

Okay let's see if that's true:

Grant: 2456 rushing yards / 313 rec yards / 15 TDs / 4.1 rush avg

A.P: 3143 rushing yards / 560 rec yards / 28 TDs/ 4.6 rush avg

DIFF: 687 rushing yards / 247 rec yards / 13 TDs/ 0.5 rush avg

That's why the hell Grant isn't 98 overall. 934 total yards and 13 TDs less. That's about a normal season for an average RB difference in just 2 years.
