Thanks for the warm welcome guys. This is a nice easy question so I'll start with it first

As you've probably read already, our Hands On Controls mean that you control the feet with the left stick and the hands with the right stick. This holds true for both offense and defense.

So if you want to perform a chase down block, you'd control your player and chase your opponent with the left stick, and when you feel it's time to attempt the block you'd press up with the right stick.

Whether or not you're successful depends on your timing, your positioning (if the shooter's body is between you and the ball you will likely commit a foul) and the player ratings for the two players involved.

So to answer your question, yes it is manual.

As for the animations, they are influenced by physics so answering "will there be chasedown block animations" isn't a simple yes/no answer.

But we're working hard to make it look as realistic as possible while still giving the user full control of their player.

welcome Geoff and Fraser
i have a big question about nba elite 11 this year
first of all the game looks amazing but the player signature shots are not there
when i was watching the 7 min video on gamespot lebron and kevin durrents shot looked very much alike
so jus this queston
will there be signature shots this year?
