They screwed up with the CAF stats thing. The only fun I was really having was creating fighters with crazy stats and trying to beat them. Now I apparently won't be able to do that anymore.

I think I will ban reversals in league games.

reversals arent the problem its the rapid flicking that mcfatigue went off about in a different thread. good players know how avoid reversals. phobia i know you know about the delayed transitions, you used a couple on me. i still reversed you a couple times but thats because i timed it, and didnt do the rapid flick twitch reversal, which is annoying as hell, but those losers also give themselves away. wait to see them twitch and transition through. they need to add a lockout or give reversals an animation and cause them to use stamina if they fail. on top of that, they need to remove the autoblock, this way if you try to reverse and miss, you lose position. give some risk to the reversal.

At this point many online opponents will spam reverse flicking, the twitch is a dead giveaway. Next continue and finish w/ your transition by rotating you stick to either a minor or major transition. As long as you avoid his 1st initial reverse flick he will never successfully reverse you spamming.
as i stated in the post before this a truly good player can still reverse you if he times it on the 2nd movement. what i do against people who are real good is feint transitions. meaning start it, let it go, start it let it go start it, and then delay slightly and then roll through. i might get blocked, but no rapid stick flicker or someone who never transitions and only reverses will beat me with those tactics. but i'm not a king at reversals i get transitioned on. but i also dont resort to cheap tactics to pull off a reversal and i attempt my own transitions as well and can usually pass with ease before a stand-up.

I have zero problem doing reversals and preventing them to the most they can be prevented. That is not my beef. It is the simple fact that if you are good enough with the system. The worst ground fighter in UFC history can become a BJJ master. That completely goes against having stats in the game for other things. If stats mean nothing on the ground for reversals why have them for anything else.

Yea I did not even think about the damn 3 transitions you are out. I have not seen a 3 transition out in so long. 90% of ground matchs have a reversal before one of the fighters makes it to 3 transitions. Another STUPID addition

Yea Matt, you know i understand the ground game completely. Faking transitions, delayed transitions, etc. I am not a rapid flick reverser. I reverse only by a single well timed flick. I find it way more successful than rapid flickers. Cause like you said, you can see when they flick and transition between flicks.

Like I said above. It is not the reversals that are the problem to me. I think in 09 it was good, not great but good. It was still based to much on user skill rather than factoring in the fighters ability. My big issue with the system is how it is based ZERO off of stats. I would not mind at all if I saw Frank Mir reverse me, I expect it actually on the ground. But when you take Kimbo Slice vs Mir and you can reverse a noob at will. It just throws the whole realism, stat rating system out the window.

well actually with the delayed transitions, you lock them out once the start flicking. thats why it works. but if you havent started a transition the the lockouttimer restarts immediately,(read broken) i agree with you it should be stats based too like tied in with ground grapple stats. but on the same token some scrub guys should be able to reverse just to balance the game. because the reversal is more taking advantage of sloppy transitioning. but your reversal window should be smaller with a guy like kimbo, and larger with a guy like maia.
