The colorforms look in some screens is just plain lazy.

EA needs to take the time to make the crowd look like a real crowd. Look at MLB the Show or Backbreakers and see how it is done.
Couldn't disagree more. And I've been one of the biggest critics of EA's annual football debacles (see below).

WOW! factor is exactly how I would describe this game. The graphics are absolutely marvelous, leaps and bounds better than anything I've ever seen from this title. It makes NCAA 09 on the 360 (the last version I purchased) look like a regular X-Box game.

Gameplay is good, but when it comes to gameplay on a demo I always reserve judgment until experiencing the retail version. But, if nothing else, I see no red flags and no reason to believe there's any major flaws with gameplay. Of course it won't be perfect. I'm not looking for perfection, because it's impossible. It comes down to whether you can live with its shortcomings. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to.

Yeah, it would be awesome if the crowd looked good. But come on man! It's the freaking crowd, for crying out loud.

Hey, I made a rhyme. I'm a poet and I didn't even know it.

I'm gonna go have a drink before the Celtics win tonight. Then I'm gonna play a couple more games of the demo. And I will be WOWed.

Why do players just fall over whenever a tackling animation runs into them?
It looks stupid.

Also, the running hardly looks like running, they look like they are sliding around out there, also when players are running routes they go faster turning that just running plain, looks very ugly.

New no-huddle is nice, graphics are stellar, but gameplay is THE SAME GARBAGE!!
Locomotion is like trying to plug a hole with a needle, it feels better, but it looks worse, players sliding around all the time in this game. And the lack of gang tackling is awful! And it feels very underwhelming after playing the backbreaker game.

You must not be playing the same demo I am, The one ive been playing is nothing like that. Only gripe I have is that the cpu will run toward the middle of the field when they could bounce it outside on a pass reception etc and no defenders are on the outside.

I just roll my eyes when I see people praise the graphics. It's almost unfathomable to me. The graphics are years behind every other game and sports series out there, and yet people have the nerve to give ea a pat on the back for this mediocrity. Jeez.

tried it a few more times-TOO EASY TO PASS ON ALL LEVELS-for all BackBreaker's shortcomings I think several hours of playing that game have made me a much better passer in these types of games. You can see all the rushers coming in and all the receivers going out. It's boring on offense.

One thing that I hope they add in the future are animations for more contact when you run into or bounce off your offensive lineman. There still are situations where you get the handoff on a run and you are stuck running in place.

I think All American is the mode I will rock with this year. I get mixed results between games. I'm also struggling to stop the CPU when they go into the no huddle. I'll probably limit the amount of ranked matches I play because of everyone going no huddle up and down the field every snap.

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

I want you guys to do a little test:

put the difficulty on Heisman:

Be Florida:

Go into SHOTGUN 5 WR TREY:

run the play " FOUR VERTICALS" and see how many times the crossing route is open. The computer can't stop a pass play on here, the demo is completely broken as far as AI pass defense. Not only that, but what ever happended to adaptive AI? This feature cleary is totally inept. The retail version may be better, but I doubt it. They are going to have to tweak something else to fix this, which will subsequently effect other aspects of gameplay.

RHOMBIC of NCAA strategies scored 68 points on this demo by abusing this horrific pass defensive AI and recovering droves of onside kicks which is far too easy.

Cheers
