Maybe not. However, I would not buy a game because of who is on the cover. For instance, if a baseball game were to put a Yankee on the cover that game would then be a no buy for me. Why do you think The Show has never put a Yankee on the cover? Because they realize they are argueably the most hated sports team in the world, and that in turn could have an impact on sales. Just saying.

You would deny yourself a good game because a player you didn't like was on the cover?
That seems a bit foolish to me.
They could put Ru Paul on the cover of NHL 11 and i would still buy it.

Yeah this seems like a bit much. If Terrell Pryor was on the cover of NCAA, I'd just replace it with a custom cover. I hate that Toews is the cover athlete, but it certainly isn't going to keep me from buying what will likely be a great game
