I have held a gudge against EA Sports every since they pulled off that NFL licence fiasco a half a decade ago, but lately, I must admit that EA has been showing signs of improvement with the quality of their titles. I loved FNR4 and last year's Madden showed that they were at least on the right track. Having said that, this demo has been one of the better (if not the best) football experiences I've had this side of ESPN NFL 2K5. As someone mentioned in an earlier post, the "feel" of the game is much more of a sim experience as I've ever witnessed in an EA published football game. The gameplay and animation has a "naturalness" to it unlike the robotic animations of past Madden's/NCAA's, and the AI does not feel as cheap. Although the demo is limited, it was enough to grab my attention. However, I can't instill full faith in this one until similar impressions of the retail release. All things considered, at least for the demo, I am impressed.

This demo is amazing! I must say this has been the most enjoyable Football game on Next-Gen so far and I am saying this off just playing a demo that obviously has flaws but wow they made great leaps over last year. I played an epic game between OU and Texas using Texas, went into triple OT before I pulled off the victory 38-35. Then I went on to get blasted by FLA 28-14 score doesn't tell the story as FLA is a beast with it's passing game my CBs just didn't match up well I guess lol. Finally I played a tight one against Missouri which I managed to win in OT 10-7.

I am really liking how the game feels, teams play more like there NCAA counter parts, I mean Missouri was pretty efficient with there No-Huddle Spread offense, they kept me on my toes the whole game. The animations of players look much better, models are more life like, stadium atmosphere has been done really well especially FSU, I was loving how the crowd was getting pumped chanting FSU FSU and there signature Seminole chant. I've seen lots of dropped interceptions which I really liked since in previous years it seemed to easy to get a pick, also seen a realistic amount of fumbles, so the turnover game looks to be about right (then again it's only 2 minute quarters) anyway I am rambling but I'm definitely getting this game on launch. Oh one last thing, the presentation is also great, nicely done by EA's NCAA crew this year. The Verdict is still out on Madden but NCAA Football 11 is where it's at.

Well the zone coverages are broke on this demo, just run four verticles the whole game, the cpu DBs on heisman have the awareness of box turtles.

I'm honestly not too impressed with the demo. I don't know what it was but everything just seemed so outdated and stale--from gameplay to commentary, to whatever else you can think of. Got bored after 20 minutes and deleted it off my hard-drive. I just cant seem to get into the game anymore if that make sense. Its just a "been there done that" kind of feeling.

Probably going to be skipping NCAA 11 this year. Shame too, I was really hoping for something good.

I noticed the zone coverages too, felt like I was cheating.

I finally just had the time to play the demo; at my parents for a couple of weeks, so do not have the luxury of having my Xbox in a bedroom, and I really enjoyed it. I love the look of the game, the feel, and so far I am horrible at option read. There are some flaws as some people have pointed out, but I am even more excited for the game to drop in a month.
