So wanting EA to improve an aspect of their game is wrong now?

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

From my 2 games I played last night I really enjoyed it but there are some things that could have been better and hopefully they will get fixed before the release.

I feel the entrance idea is great but they could have done so much more with it. tOSU does lock arms before they enter the stadium but they sway back and forth before they run in. That's not in the game. Their entrance seemed identical to Texas' entrance minus the arms being locked.

In my game as Texas vs OU when I scored a touchdown it played OU's fight song, weird.

The slower speed is great but my RB for Miami was chased down by a DT from behind.

Passing seemed the same however when I tried a PA bootleg the DE contained me very well. The pass rush seems a lot better.

I didn't see any fumbles but I did intercept Landry Jones twice.

The presentation is the big winner of the game so far, no Corso, ESPN scoreboard, entrances, etc but there is room for improvement still. I will still buy the game because I can't live without it.

I loved in the Clemson/Missouri game that on one play the receiver actually slipped due to the rain. That was really cool.

The more I play the demo, the more I love it.

I do have to say though it is pretty funny to be playing at Clemson and being up 21-0...yet their fans are still cheering like they won the National Championship. lol

No but b******* because they didn't improve crowds but they made all the other improvements is just asinine....people need to prioritize things. If crowds look terrible till NCAA '13 I'll be fine with it as long as the gameplay, dynasty, and presentation keeps getting the treatment it did this year......put it this way, what if they didn't add ESPN presentation this year in favor of making the crowd look better....

I disagree...the crowd looks bad. For next gen it should be better. Looks like Tecmo Bowl crowd compared to some of the other graphics in the game.

Crowd shouldn't be a big deal and shouldn't be noticed. But it stands out when it's noticably bad.

Like I said, say they scrapped the ESPN presentation and overlays this year to make the crowd look better.....what would everyone here be saying......

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

If you disable the 720P and 1080i settings in your PS3 system menu the demo will play at full 1080P just like on the 360. It looks much better (cleaner, less flickering), not sure why it defaults to 720P when it looks so much better in 1080P even if it's upscaled. The replays stutter badly on the PS3 though opposed to the 360. And the lag when play calling is something to get used too.

Otherwise I'm gaining faith in the PS3-Version.
