Just played FSU v Florida i was FSU... I love this demo. It just feels right. For a demo this has been the most impressive NCAA. There are some glitches but i am assuming they will have them fixed. So many awesome new animations though... I love it. The ESPN overlays are nice. I love the new camera and the replay camera. I love how its so close

Maybe it's because I didn't play ncaa 10, but the player interaction is bad. The way back get stuck behind the line and do nothing to try and free themselves just looks ugly. The line play is simply horrible looking imo.

WR/DB interactions at the line look and work great though. I've also seen some really nice tip pass animations.

Overall though this game has many of the same issues we all know, and have yet to be fixed. Mirror man to man has to go. I can play cover 1 the entire game a shutout the AI on heisman.

The no huddle so far seems like a joke. It's ran way too fast and cheesy. Let's hope it's fixed by the final build.

Please keep in mind: we are dealing with the DEMO. This isn't the final build. Relax.

I played a game (Florida vs Florida State) and from what I've seen, we are in for a treat. As Playmaker said, with sliders, this game will be brilliant once the final build is done. I loved the presentation, it really added to the game.

The replays were a little scratchy as was the coloring to an extent, but I ain't too worried, everything will be cut and polished before it's shipped.

The initial signs are good, I look forward to the release of NCAA 11.

really wish they would've done like Madden and updated the kicking meter. No challenge with the present one.

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

A few things I noticed:

My first thought when i played this was, this is the game we shouldve been playing for the past 2-3 years on the next gen consoles. Im not whining. This game looks great. Alot of the new features are last gen upgrades (fans, pre/post-game, entrances, etc.)

The game speed was very fast. I assume its because they want us to get the most out of the demo. It made it difficult to read the offensive keys. I believe it will be slowed down in the retail version.

The pump fake didnt work. It only worked when i pump faked backwards.

The Computer AI is much much much improved. cpu rb's followed blocks.

Animations were improved

Locomotion wasnt the insane step up that I had expected, but its a move in the right direction. Locomotion created more fluid movements and a more fluid game. The controls were more sensitive and responsive. I had to adjust, because I was so used to having to make a movement on the controller a full second before the player would respond.

I did notice the accelerated clock.

The camera angles were a bit tight and they switched alot. It made me dizzy at first.

The espn wipes are a nice touch, but didnt warrant the early hype.

Overall the demo shows a much better game than anything else ive seen from this franchise for next gen consoles. Like I said earlier this is what Ive been expecting for 3 years. Its water under the bridge now, but it just makes me question why we had to wait this long for a quality product.

last words: Im stoked for july 13
