Yea I saw that it looked great, earlier this morning I threw a pick because my WR slipped as he cut on the wet field, as pissed as I was it looked awesome......another thing I saw that was awesome was when I barreled into the endzone with Cooper from Miami I ran over an OSU defender.......Cooper popped up to celebrate but before he celebrated he leaned down and helped the poor OSU defender up.....

Is there any particular reason why Florida's pro combat helmets are missing in the demo?

I hope they made it in the game, otherwise it would really take away from the Gators pro combat unis.

I absolutely love the blocking this year. Such a thing of beauty.

still hate that the cpu cheeses Jump the Snap on Heisman level. So wish they would remove that feature.

Killed FSU with Florida in my first game. Final score was 31-7 on All-American. I will say that the locomotion addition went a LONG way into making it feel like a real game of football, and I really enjoyed the way I was able to run one way and then cut back against the pursing defense on returns and gain a few extra yards. I went all the way on my first kick return.

The blocking across the board has been drastically improved. The run block is excellent when you don't out run your blocks, and the down field blocking really helps you to break those longer runs.

It was also really cool how you could jump routes based on how the offensive players moved. I stepped in front of a pass on the first drive of the game and came away with the INT. The feeling of doing that was amazing.

There are a few things I didn't like. I think the defense doesn't get off blocks quickly enough at times, and the CPU holds the ball wrong as well. After hearing Coach Strong and UofL's RB Coach preach about how to hold the ball I thought it was pretty unacceptable. Overall though, the game looks to be vastly improved, and the presentation is EXCELLENT.

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

Just another guy's thoughts:

I just played through every matchup. At first, I noticed or believed that the game looked and felt quite different. But as I played through the games, I realized all in all, I was playing the same game as last year. This was evident when I had defensive tackles knock down my passes two times in a row. That just doesn't happen like that. I can't decide if I like the locomotion or not. It sometimes seemed or felt like the guys were ice skating instead of running.

I am still up in the air in regards to gameplay. I will continue to play the demo until it comes out. I will still buy the game because I am a dynasty guy. But I was not super impressed with what we've had so far.

The atmosphere and such surrounding the game was very cool. I was impressed with that part of the game. It's about time it made its return from the PS2 days.

Here's to hoping for a coaching carousel somewhere in the announcements left and it will overshadow an underwhelming gameplay!

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

Im a big Texas fan and Im just wondering why Dravannti Johnson is a impact player...???... That should have went to Aaron Williams or Keenan Robinsonor maybe even Eddie Jones. Johnson didnt even start last year.

Anyway, the game is tight but it does have some little issues that can hopefully be fixed. I saw a couple of my defensive guys who were looking right at the qb in the hook zones and then a pass was thrown and the didnt even react to it. he just kinda stood there...

other than that, it was a great experience.
