Says they tuned the cameras where 'everybody is happy'. Does that mean a customizable camera finally?
my feelings exactly. Good he is in there...But he is Gus Hammond honestly.

And the addition of 3 v3 online gameplay is probably sweet for the 30 people who actually enjoy that.....But w/e....

I was pretty impressed with that vid. But still no foot plant for the RB which is a downer. What irks me more is all this attention to online play. If chise is the same ole thing there are going to be a lot of pissed gamers..

Awful commentary!!! Why they can't seem to make it like EA's NHL and FIFA games is beyond me!? Those games have flowing, non stop action and the commentary is always top notch. Football, because of all the stoppages for setting the ball for the "downs", should be even easier to have seemless commentary. But they can't seem to figure it out! It's always spliced bits of speech stuck together and the announcer's inflections make it painfully obvious that it's spliced together. GARBAGE!

I couldn't care less about online play but it looked like they got Adrian Peterson's signature running style down. That was a pleasant surprise. I want to see some vids in the Zoom Camera view. I hate the default birds eye view in Madden. It makes the players look so small. I want to feel like I'm on the field when playing not watching from a blimp.

Those are big empty spaces, and since all of these actions happen for the entire course of an NFL game, well, they've got a big problem there. I know they said they hired professional writers, but... that silence is awful, and I honestly don't see how that can go without being noticed unless you just don't watch NFL games on TV...?

There were some videos djordan posted of Madden 03(?) where the QB was announced dropping back, and handoffs were announced, etc. that bad silence didn't exist last generation.
What had happened here???
I though commentary was more like this...

Did they cut out most of the commentary? It was so quiet...maybe they were focusing on showing off the co-op stuff.

Re: New interview/footage at ign

This is craziness. For the first time in my life the Madden hype train has actually LOWERED my interest in the game. Every other year (on 360) I have fallen for the hype only to be disappointed. These last 2-3 days in particular have absolutely killed any excitement i had for Madden 11. No improvements to online or offline Franchise mode? Then what's going to keep my mind off the horrible robot gameplay? I was pretty pumped for Gus but after this video I see they somehow managed to screw that up too. If the pre-planned and perfected hype-campaign looks terrible I hate to think what the real game is going to be like. I hate to say this and I don't wish unhappiness on anyone but the Madden team should be ashamed of themselves. Lucky for me NCAA looks phenomenal this year.

It would be a LOT of fun if this OTP was implemented in a similar way to the OTP in NHL. For example, you create a player for each "squad" as it was called in the video, and at the beginning of each OTP match you would select the position you wanted to play. On the subject of the rest of the computer controlled team, I think random computer players in the uniforms that you choose would be pretty cool, but the lack of options (only 32 teams) might challenge diversity a bit. Special EA helmets gloves, shoes, etc could be added as well. Take a hint from the NHL team and use the technology that is available EA!

Bro, I'm going to have to let you down here and give some bad news. EA announced today that there would be no major additions to chise this year because of the gameplay improvements. Madden 12 is supposedly going to devote most of their resources to it. Sorry man.
