I know guys are upset. But, he ask for ideas HERE. So I'll throw out a few.

1. Dynamic Commentary - Mention other things about the season, throughout.

2. Stat Overlays for league leaders in categories like standings (maybe during timeouts or quickly in-between plays)

3. Practice squads

4. Ability to apply roster updates (minus injuries) to the season. Mostly attribute changes and new players.

5. Play multi-player user games in ANY order. (Don't sim user games until I say so)

6. User selected (saved) highlights for the Extra Point.

7. Include the Lamar Hunt and George Halas Trophies. (Conference Champ is significant too)

8. Promo next week's games. Or future games in general.

9. Franchise relevant loading screens.

10. Different presentation and feel for Sunday Night and Monday Night games.

11. Dynamic lighting and attendance

12. Drama for injured players: (Aaron Rodgers is a game-time decision) Only to not find out until the announcer actually says weather is out or not at the start of the broadcast. (Example: "Aaron Rodgers has been nursing a sore right ankle this week but we've been told that he WILL play this afternoon.")

Just speaking on how you put it bro, And yes since its something small it can be added in with no issues. So Im still hoping and if not they can add it with a patch.

360+ votes and 77% say they care most about franchise modes.

i know this doesn't speaking on the entire sports gaming community but it speaks volumes as to what the average sports gamer actually plays in my opinion. personally, me & my friends care way more about franchise than online also.

The only reason I decided to post this is because I'm hoping that by getting this off my chest and putting it out there, I'll start to feel better...
Out of all the posts I read after reading the whole thread this one I can relate to the most.Sometimes you already know the truth but you just need that little something to confirm it for you, this franchise news did that for me.Madden is a product made by a company. That companys' reason for existing is to make money, period.I dont know why some of EA sports' other games seem to do a better job with their respective sports but they do.My time for questions is done, now I just have to face reality.

Madden 11 will not have major franchise upgrades and who knows what Madden 12 will be,ok EA.I will find out how all this translated over to improving other areas of Madden 11 after I BUY and play it for myself.

I understand any person that's renting or passing on Madden 11 because they think they will not like it but the people that are boycotting the game in hopes that EA improves it to your liking,I dont see the point. No matter what happens with Madden sales,EA will continue to make profit driven decisions like they are doing now,IMO.Think about, with Madden 10 they admitted the half-arsed online franchise did not do well and we all know a large number of people avoided online ranked games due to cheesers, glitchers and sundries.EAs' profit driven solution for this in Madden 11 is to potentially leave online franchise untouched and create a "coin" based scouting system while adding another potentially half-arsed done online teamplay mode. Also, more online in-game advertising and fee based DLC for even more potential revenue. It doesnt seem logical that these same "brains" would make a game that appeals to the people boycotting it even if Madden 11 only sold 50,000 units total,IMO.Their track records says they would be more likely to interpret the data as a mandate to get rid of franchise or worse Madden, all together.Imagine some financial EA "genius" decides that to maximize profit EA should just release yearly $29.99 roster updates until the exclusive NFL license expires. That way gamers can have money to buy NBA Elite yearly while devs work on 3D-Madden 14!LOL

Boycott if you like but Im going to buy it and make the most out of the only NFL game for my console.Im not doing it out of ignorance or blind loyalty but because I refuse to let EAs' misguided vision for profit prevent me from getting whatever enjoyment I can out of this game.As a kid,I used to make Transformers with clothes pins so finding ways to enjoy Madden 11 shouldnt be too hard.LOL

So there will be no more threads, posts or polls for me about what EA can do to improve Madden x because I no longer think any of that actually matters to them. That's what they pay their creative team to do and Im not interested in having any of my dream ideas being mangled to make them as profitable as possible for EA.

I look foward to the Madden 11 slider thread and other threads, posts and polls about how I can take whatever the final product is and get the most enjoyable NFL experience I can from it.My cents

EDIT:I almost forgot. If for any reason, legal mandate, fiscal decision or whatever,EA finally loses the exclusive NFL license,I VOW to NEVER buy another Madden of any kind as long as another company makes a NFL game!

But franchsise in madden 11 is still going to be good despite no big changes. But it is the way it is.
How many times will you say "Next Year" ? lol THink about that really? How many years have we been told.....just wait until next year.....WOW. This year is it for me!

And that's why no competition ends up being a game killer. It makes people settle for so much less, cause there isn't anything else out there.

It really is a shame.

I think I'll get NCAA 11, cause I've never had an NCAA game before (FB or Hoops). So I'm kind of excited about getting NCAA 11.

Re: Madden NFL 11 Blog: E3 Feature Announcement and Career Modes Update

What a joke. Will be 3rd year in a row not buying after 10 plus years of buying it.

Of course online franchise was not very popular. It was a complete joke; really it was just a lame mutiple season league.

I really though Ian and Co. had it going in the right direction but this is the 6th year on these platforms and it is total BS franchise/online franchise is a joke. Look at Franchise in the show. By now we should have a working IR, practice squad, dynamic free agency and a host of other things.
